Location, comfort, facilities, atmosphere, value for money and a personable landlord made our 4-night stay in Paris a very memorable experience. As we are fit and healthy, we saw the 4 flights of stairs as a daily source of exercise. We are recommending it to all our friends.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+.

I recently spent a week in M. Blondeau's charming little studio at the top of a charming building in the Marais. Everything was perfect. As a solo traveller, I found the room a good size with a servicable kitchenette and bathroom. The water in the shower was hot and plentiful. The apartment was clean and well appointed. I especially liked having a TV and radio at my disposal. And the view was great; Parisian rooftops complete with the steeple of the Eglise Notre-Dame-des-Blancs Manteaux in sight. I awoke every morning to the sound of its bell. The stairs can be daunting, but with a little rest on the elegant landings one can manage them. M. Blondeau himself was friendly and very helpful with his knowledge of the area and of Paris in general. I felt quite at home at 10 rue Aubriot and I hope to stay there again. C'etait une experience tres formidable.

Soy Gema Serrano de Córdoba, imagino que te acordarás de mí, estuvimos en tu apartamento en París a mediados de Enero… seguro que ya te acuerdas¡¡¡ Desde hace ya algún tiempo quería escribirte, pero ya sabes con el ajetreo de vida que llevamos me ha sido imposible. Simplemente queríamos agradeceros tanto a ti como a Jean Marie, la dedicación y atención que tuvisteis con nosotros tanto en la preparación del viaje, como una vez allí con Jean Marie, la verdad es que pasamos unos días maravillosos…. ¡ A excepción del tiempo que nos hizo! Por supuesto nos fuimos pensando en volver, y como no en vuestros maravillosos apartamentos, animaros a seguir en esa línea y desearos toda la suerte del mundo. Le dijimos a Jean Marie cuando estuvimos allí, que os íbamos a enviaros un detallito de nuestra tierra, y nos pasó tu dirección de Málaga para mas comedida en el envío, pero no la encontramos, si fueras tan amble de pasárnosla de nuevo te lo agradeceríamos. Bueno esperamos tu pronta respuesta, y un día que vayamos a la playa a ver si nos conocemos personalmente… Un saludo Gema

Received by email the 24th January, Jean-Marie Blondeau, I haven't had the chance to sit down and write to you, but I wanted to thank you for your hospitality and your kindness while we visited Paris. Our stay was very pleasant and allowing us to check in early and stowe our luggage as we finished up our stay was very kind. I am not sure when we will be back next, but when we visit, hopefully your place is available again. We love the Marais and the apartment, it was perfect for the two of us.
