Mission Beach is a unique California beach town. It’s a peninsula of high priced real estate surrounded by the Pacific Ocean on the west side and Mission Bay Park on the east. Two very different worlds and only a block apart! The Boardwalk and the Pacific Ocean is active, fun and busy. Body surf, board surf, boogie board, jump the waves, search for shells, build a sandcastle or just walk along the seashore.
In contrast, Mission Bay offers another world - sail, kayak, swim, picnic and play tennis. You can ride bikes (included) or walk, run or skate on miles of ocean and bay front sidewalks. Your choice. Enjoy it all!!
Our Beach Duplex is clean and fresh, three bedroom, two bath upper unit with a partial ocean view from balcony and some rooms. The secondary bedroom has separate entry and bathroom attached. There is one king and queen size bed in the back bedrooms. The third room with attached bathroom has a full/twin bunk set.
Additionally, there is a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room area and air mattress for additional accommodations available. Living room/dining room combination areas are compact as are most Mission beach locations.
This home is a modern looking duplex (built in 70's) with updated dual pane windows. Brand new furniture, carpeting, tile, and freshly painted 2008. The property is just 55 steps to ocean sand and boardwalk and 2 blocks to the West of all the bayside activities.
One half of the double garage is included with this rental (automatic door). There is an outdoor shower and foot wash hose in common area for your convenience.
Mission Beach...is one of the most popular beaches in San Diego, California with tourists and locals alike. Located along the boardwalk referred to as The Strand, Mission Beach stretches on for 2 miles beginning with Mission Bay Beach and ending at Pacific Beach. Pacific Beach (PB) and Mission Beach is about as close as San Diego gets to Miami's South Beach. Perfect white sand beaches, endless summer weather, surfboards, string bikinis, restaurants and night clubs action never seems to stop around here.
Visit the home of the world famous San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Wild Animal Park, Shamu at Seaworld, take the kids to Legoland, have dinner and go dancing at the Gas Lamp District in down town San Diego, or enjoy the museums, the Carlsbad Flower Fields, Point Loma and the beauty of Balboa Park or a short walk to Belmont Park.
