  This studio is perfect for 2 people. The view from the lanai is priceless. We saw whales and turtles. We had lovely weather. The condo is fitted out well. Good kitchen. There is a small cooler to take with you on drives and picnics. There are various water toys, and umbrellas. A wonderful experience. Would stay here any time we go to Maui.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We had a great experience at this condo. It was much cheaper than anything on Maui and it was CLEAN. The view was beautiful. The Valley Isle is pretty quiet. No one was partying and it was a relaxing experience. The owner of this condo is very sweet. She e-mailed me several e-mails about Maui and things we could do while on our trip. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We (my wife and I (both 55 years old) spent one week at this great condo and loved every day of staying there. Condo is very well equipped with everything you may potentially need during vacation (starting from all possible kitchenware and ending with snorkeling gear and binocular). Beach is steps away from the building. Condo has a large balcony with great views from 10th floor and we had a breakfast at the balcony with ocean view every morning. We watched sea turtles every day from the balcony as a morning treat... Sunset was another treat...Condo does not have air conditioning, but we really did not needed it at all. Sea breeze takes care of everything. Descriptions and information/directions from owners is very detailed and accurage. We believe it is a great accomodation for a couple. We suggest to rent a car (as we did) to drive around the island (there are plenty of options for various activities - snorkeling, hiking, etc. There are good local dining options (walking distance) as well as great restaurants in Lahaina (drive) We can definitely recommend this place for vacation.

  We spent 1 week at this lovely Condo, I was so pleased I found it! We found the condo extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need from a day at the beach, to preparing meals to eat on the lanai. There is so much to do around the local area and also around the island. We just wished we could have stayed longer! We watched the turtles each day from the lanai and we even spotted a whale in the distance, we loved hearing the sound of the waves each night putting us to sleep. We will be highly recommending this wonderful condo to our family and friends in Australia. Thank you Dennis and Marge for sharing your condo with us.

  My husband and I recently spent two weeks in this wonderful condo. We have been to Maui many, many times over the years but this in now our new favorite spot. The view from the deck is so spectacular that it is very hard to force yourself to leave. Unfortunately it was not whale season when we were there, but we were entertained daily by several adorable turtles. The beach in front of the condo is very nice with beach chairs and lounges always available. At the time we were there the surf was very calm which made for easy and enjoyable swimming The unit itself is very clean and well stocked. Never once did we need or want something that wasn't provided. A whole cabinet stocked with lots of nice towels, extra sheets and plenty of beach towels. The owners were very helpful and returned all my email questions immediately. But back to that view. There are many good restaurants nearby, but our favorite became Dolly's, which is right across the street, and has wonderful salads, pizzas, sandwiches etc. for take out. So most nights we would bring home dinner and enjoy it on our beautiful deck. We had the best seat in the house. Why leave? We can't wait to return to this lovely condo.

  We just returned from a fabulous anniversary trip to Maui and highly recommend this unit. It is completely furnished with everything you need and really makes you feel like you are at home. The view from the lanai is amazing. The whales were very active and we saw two sea turtles every day swimming in front of the condo. The whole complex is very well maintained. The beach area is very nice and was never crowded. This area is very quiet and peaceful compared to several other areas of the island we checked out. The owners were so nice to work with and sent all sorts of sightseeing suggestions and restaurants to try. We enjoyed cooking most of our meals in the condo and eating out on the lanai. The Sands Restaurant next door at the Sands of Kahana was very good as well as the Sea House Restaurant in Napili Bay. If you plan a whale watching excursion, we highly recommend the Freedom Raft through Pacific Whale Foundation. We fell in love with Maui and would love to go back and would definitely stay in this unit again! The sounds of the waves at night and first thing in the morning is one of the most relaxing sounds there is. Thank you Dennis & Marge for sharing your home with us!

  Just wanted to let you know we just got back from our vacation in Hawaii. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your Paradise Home. This was our 5th trip to Maui and our 4th time to stay at The Valley Isle. Your condo is perfect. You have an excellent view, and the whales out did themselves this year. We saw multiple breaching's while sitting on your lanai. The room was great and very comfortable. We did our best to treat it as if it were our own and left it the way we found it.

  We stayed at the Valley Isle in early Nov. 2011. I've stayed at two other units at Valley Isle and this is the best by far. The view is great from the 10th floor. The condo is very well stocked with every day items you need for cooking (except actual food of corse) such as spices and other odds and ends.It also had beach chairs, umbrella's and coolers that we loved to use on the beach as you can't carry them on the plane. I would highly recommend this place for the view, price and even the owner is great to work with. Can't wait to go back
