Clean, Beautiful Home in the Seabright Neighborhood, just steps to the beach! This is a beautifully furnished and decorated, clean, comfortable and bright home! Conveniently located in a quiet nice neighborhood between the boardwalk and the Harbor . A PRIVATE HOT TUB, TWO FIREPLACES plus, a HEAT LAMP on the extra-large upstairs outdoor deck make your stay EXTRA comfortable, relaxing and special. Keyless entry as well in case you don't want the hassle of bringing your keys with you when you go out for the day. All Linens provided, inlcuding towels, beach towels, down comforters and down pillows, all hypoallergenic. Gourmet Kitchen, with quality anondized cookware, waffle maker, coffee maker, toaster oven, griddle, blender, garlic press etc.. etc.. 2 HDTV's and 2 DVD players, ipod docking station, stereo.... This house is also ideal for families and very kid friendly with lots of kid games, toys and movies, and even video games with 38 game cartridges! There is a washer/ dryer for your convenience as well as TWO fully stocked kitchen areas and even a small refrigerator on the LARGE top deck. We provide beach chairs here, umbrellas, coolers, sand toys, 3 boogie boards, a skim board, an old surf board, life vests for the kids, a radio flyer wagon, 4 adult bicycles (2 mountain bikes, 2 beach cruiser), 2 toddler bikes (no training wheels) ... 2 scooters and even a wonder wheelie to wheel all of your beach items easily down to the beach for your use, AND plenty of indoor toys, movies, etc.. Monitors, high chair, adult/kid movies, games, crayons, puzzles, etc.. What more do you need? The house itself is in an ideal location with so many things within walking distance. Once you arrive, you will virtually never need to drive anywhere. You can walk to the beach, the boardwalk, the museum, the harbor where you can rent kayaks, or take catamaran cruises, walk to one of the many restaraunts including a coffee shop, a brewery, a burger place, a market, and the famous Aldo's restaraunt, Johnny's or the Crow's nest!
The beach is just steps away, 2 blocks, the boardwalk is only a short 5 minute walk. Walk to the harbor, and so many restaurants in SeaBright village!

I loved this property! Everything that was listed in the description was accurate and a great reflection on the property. I had seen it from the outside before committing and was pleasantly surprised by the interior - it was really cute, charming and well maintained. I had a few friends join me and they loved it as well and spoke of possibly renting it in the future. The owner was very easy to work with. There were tons of things to do in walking distance so it was easy to ditch the car for a while which felt very nice.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

My husband and I along with our children and grandchildren had a wonderful four nights at the Seabright beach home. The location was perfect as it was only a short stroll to the beach and a short walk to the Boardwalk. The house had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the beach chairs and beach toys for our 3 and 2 year old grandchildren. My husband and I had the upstairs master suite and enjoyed the kitchenette for making our coffee in the morning. The upstairs deck was perfect for family dinners and for looking down at passing sailboats in the ocean. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This beautiful house is definitely a home away from home. We had a group of 10 (6adults &4kids), and were very comfortable & impressed. The place was very clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed for a beach getaway. The kids (ages 13,10,4,&2) had a blast! We will definitely come back! Next time for a week+ stay. Our ONLY regret with this house, is that we didn't get to stay longer!! The house is equipped with everything you will need. My teenagers really enjoyed the bikes. It is a great location with a lot of things for them to do. When we were down at the beach (which is a short walk) I was very comfortable with my 12 year old walking back and forth by himself. Very nice neighborhood.There is not enough room to list all the things we liked about this house. We will be back!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

It seems like few things in life are as advertised but this Santa Cruz rental was every bit as advertised and more! From the comfortable feeling of "home" as soon as you walked in the door to the perfect location to all the ammenities offered we could not have found a more perfect rental for our family occasion! The brewery and coffee shop are only a couple of blocks away along with the beach. We have stayed at quite a few rentals in various locations and this has become our favorite and we will return as soon as possible!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

From the moment we drove down the street, we knew we were in a perfect beach town. Easy to bike everywhere and owners provide more than adequate 'toys' for beach. Well stocked kitchen, super clean house with all amenities. The deck was the best in the evenings for our family. Highly recommended to anyone even thinking of a beach getaway.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We recently stayed at this Seabright beach house during our wedding weekend over Labor Day. The house is walking distance to everything you need for a beach getaway. It has all the amenities you could possibly need to fully enjoy your stay. We got married on Seabright beach and rented the house so that the wedding party could all stay together.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

About the owner: My husband and I both grew up along the coast of Southern California and we both love everything that a quaint beach town has to offer. As soon as we found the SEABRIGHT beach area, we fell in love.. It is so bright and sunny, and we just loved the fresh air, the sound of the crashing ocean waves, the casual attitude, the friendly environment, and the vacation like feel. With the beach just a few steps away, the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, many restaurants, and the harbor, all within such a short walking distance, it seemed like a perfect place for our family to build many, delightful and fantastic memories. So far it has been a perfect vacation place for us and such a great location and we hope you and your family enjoy this house and it's location as much as we have!
Why the Owner Chose Santa Cruz:
We chose to buy a house in the Seabright area because it is one of the nicest, sunniest areas in Santa Cruz. This little town is very well cared for and has such cute Victorian beach cottage homes. The beach has bathrooms and showers and a little ice cream stand and there are also lifeguard stations all along the beach making it a very safe and family friendly beach. Seabright beach also allows bonfires in the evening and this makes the beach a unique place. Also what made this location ideal for us is that the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk is only a short walking distance from the house as well as numerous restaurants and the harbor. There are lots of beautiful trails and walks from the house along the ocean front and the neighborhood is very friendly.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The location of this house is ideal! It is nicely situated between both the boardwalk and the harbor. The beach entrance is right at the bottom of our street, the boardwalk and the harbor are both only about a 5 minute walk away,. So, you have the beach, the harbor, AND an amusement area so close! It is such a special place and nested within a nice, clean and quiet neighborhood. The beach at the bottom of the street is a special beach. It is never a crowded or busy area because of where we are situated. Another thing that makes this particular area special is that Seabright beach allows bonfires at night. It is a special and neat experience to walk right down, to the beach, have a nice bonfire, roast hot dogs, or smores and chat with family and/or friends and then walk right home.
Another fun thing to do is to walk along the ocean front as you make your way to the harbor. Aldo's is a great restaraunt on the harbor to eat and/or have drinks and enjoy the beautiful scenery while watching the boats sailing in and out of the harbor. There are seals and pelicans and you can even take a walk all the way out to the lighthouse or rent boats or kayaks if you are feeling adventurous.
A museum is also at the bottom of the street with a large whale out front that is as fun spot for kids to climb and play.
One of our favorite things to do when we are there is to wake up, sit on the deck and to listen for the ocean. Then, go for nice little walk to a local coffee shop with our children. We grab coffee and breakfast and then head down to the beach. With our eldest son on his bike, and youngest in the wagon, we head over to the harbor and let the kids run down to the light house. As we make our way back we head to the beach, the kids romp and play in the sand and waves and we head back to the house for lunch. We end our day roasting hot dogs and marshmallows with a bonfire on the beach or a barbeque on the deck upstairs!
