We have just departed from unit 504 at Maui Kai and have left with very positive impressions. We traveled with our two children aged 9 and 11 and would recommend this place to other families wishing to get their own space and get away from the bustle of the resort hotels. The place has a fantastic location right on the beach front, and I mean right on the beach front! Step out of the condo and you are on the beach. Two more steps and you are in the sea! The views are great. Every apartment must get the fantastis view we had. Completely uninterrupted views out to sea. The apartment we stayed in was spotless, and the same could be said of the rest of the place. It is kept in very good order with the BBQ cleaner than I can get my own. The apartment is big enough for two but a little cramped for a family of four, but you knew what we were doing before we booked. The sofa bed in the living room is not the world's most comfortable but what sofa bed is. The unit is so well stocked with the needs of the traveler. Every kitchen utensil is provided as is beach gear, coolers, snorkel sets, iPod dock, good cable package, the list goes on. The place is ideal if you want to get away for some peace and quiet. If you want big pools, resort entertainment, loud music and loud people then go elsewhere. If you want to relax and kick back with your own cooking on the lanai and watch the sea with some cold ones, then this is the place for you.

We stayed in two different condos during our two weeks in the Maui Kai to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. This condo was nicely appointed and has a very comfortable bed with a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding islands from the lanai and of the in-land mountain valley from the bedroom. We only stayed a few days here, and it looked like the cleaning staff decided not to dust or sweep the floors before we arrived, but that didn't detract from the wonderful dinners we had on the lanai, or the romantic sunsets. The Maui Kai really is the closest condo to the water in the Kaanapali Beach area and the staff, grounds, pool, and overall environment were all top notch. I would recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for a quiet stay on Maui with all the beauty and local amenities that the Hyatt, Sheraton, and Ritz have to offer as well as all the comforts of home.

Thank you so much for renting your condo to us! We had a wonderful vacation and anniversary in Maui, and your condo helped make that experience very special! Leaving was the most difficult part, and if we could have stayed longer, we certainly would have. We took comfort that at the end of the day after going on an excursion around the island that we were coming back to comfortable furnishings, an excellent kitchen, and a nice shower. We loved sitting out on the lanai in the morning, taking in the gorgeous views. The location was great because we were close to some excellent food options and were able to get down to the shops in Lahaina. The beaches were beautiful, and the community was very clean and well kept. Our time there flew by and we did not want to leave. You have a wonderful piece of paradise. Mahalo for sharing it with us. We hope to return in the near future.

We had a fantastic vacation in this apartment. It is situated the perfect place and we enjoyed the fantastic oceanview from the balcony. The apartment was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. I can only give this place my very best recommendations.

This was my second visit to Maui Kai 504. It was as fantastic as the first! The reservation process was very easy and quick with no confusions or mistakes. The condo is in the perfect location, right on the beach! The view off the lanai, exceptional and private. The condo itself was decorated in wonderful island style and was very comfortable. Outfitted with everything we needed, it once again proved to be home away from home. This condo holds a very special place in our hearts! Maui is such a beautiful island and Maui Kai 504 is perfectly situated and appointed to enjoy every bit of it.

We had a marvelous time in Maui. The Maui Kai was simply beautiful right on the ocean. The sunsets were breath-taking. We even extended our stay by three days and didn't want to leave then. Everyone on the grounds were extremely friendly. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends or anyone considering vacationing in Maui. The room was stocked with everything you'd possibly need and the Safeway down the street made grocery shopping less expensive. The condo was perfectly clean and decorated in nice Hawaiian accents. We spent so much time sitting on the lanai just watching the waves, whales, and kite-surfers. We also took in all the visitor sites. Overall on a scale of 1-10, I'd say we had an 11. We stayed for the second time at the Maui Kai Condo Complex, UNIT 504 in May of '08 and absolutely loooooved it all over again! We are very excited about returning for a ten day third visit this May 2. We never tire of this unbelievable oceanfront property. We always enjoy sitting on the lanai in the morning (java in hand) watching the wonderful sea parade of whales, spinner dolphins and sea turtles. Later we mosey on down to the awesome sandy beach and take a dip in the waves. If you are not a beach lover there is a pool close by. We are always impressed with how well the grounds are cared for, lush greens and beautiful flowers abound. The condo itself is immaculate, with a well stocked kitchen and furnished with lovely tropical decor. All the niceties of home right here. Did I mention the gorgeous sunsets and colorful rainbows? We would highly recommend this condo to honeymooners, couples or small families. The price is very reasonable too. Al and Lyn, the owners are wonderful people. They want you to have the BEST EVER ALOHA EXPERIENCE at their little slice of Heaven, Maui Kai Unit 504...and WE ALWAYS DO.

This condo is amazing. The location is outstanding, as is the view from the wonderful large lanai. I cannot praise it enough. It is beautifully furnished and has all the extra touches you would need. It is spotless and the bed was very comfortable (very important). I think it is the nicest place we have ever stayed!! The complex is well kept and the staff we met were very friendly to us. Exceptional good value. Thank you so much.

From the second we walked in to this condo, we were wowwed by everything, from the furnishings to the view, this condo is unbelievable! Newly remodeled with granite countertops, tile flooring, and full fun closet including snorkle gear, boogie boards, umbrellas, childrens beach toys, lawn chairs, coolers.....Lyn (owner) has everything that you need here to feel like home. This condo is very clean....you could eat off the floors! The lanai is wonderful. I sat on the patio furniture for hours just watching the whales breaching from the ocean front view through the binnoculars which were also supplied for us. The beach right in from is also a perfect spot for tanning and swimming. There is also a gated pool and hottub area with public BBQ's and games room. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone, being a family or just a couple, who like the finer things in life!

The view was spectacular, the condo had everything we needed to feel like we were at home for a week and not in a hotel room. We had stayed at a hotel the previous week and felt much more comfortable at Lyn and Al's condo. The only negative was that the bed was slightly lumpy and leaned outward.
