Ocean Walk condominium (ground level). King-size bed with ensuite bath, two twin beds, and queen-size sleeper sofa. Three television sets with cable, one a large 47" big-screen tv (with a sports package), one DVD player, and a stereo. Wi-fi in unit. Free crib available. All new playground area for younger children. Beautiful duck pond. All new tennis courts, two swimming pools (one heated), clubhouse with weight room and lifecycle treadmills. We are on Mallery Street, the main street of the village, a comfortable stroll to the village and pier.
St. Simons is ideal for a fairytale vacation in a resort area. Take a walk in the park where soft winds blow fresh from the sea. Generations have stood where you stand, watching for ships on the horizon while dolphins play in the surf and pelicans dive for dinner. Neptune Park includes a playground with many benches for relaxing by the sea, picnic tables under the oaks, barbecue grills, and the bandstand where events are held throughout the year.
The pier village is the island's historic area. Visit the lighthouse G-8 museum, and heritage museum. Take the trolley ride. It is well worth your time as it gives you an overview of the island as well as details of its history. The guides will point out to you the various trees with faces of the tree spirits carved on their trunks.
Riding bicycles is a popular mode of transportation. They can be rented at several locations or use ours free of charge. There are bike paths all over the island so get your exercise and go sightseeing at the same time. If you like golf, you will be happy to know that there are many first-class public courses on the island. You will find specialty shops and boutiques and excellent restaurants in the various shopping areas.
Be sure to try them all. For your evenings you might take in a movie at the St. Simons movie theater or perhaps take part in the Ghost Walks and hear the mysterious tales spun by the guide. There is plenty to do on or near the island so you will come away at the end of your stay with memories of a wonderful experience.

I just wanted to send you a little note telling you what a wonderful time my family and I had at your lovely home in St. Simons. We all agreed that if you would have us back, we want to spend every August in St. Simons. The facilities were great!!! The people were nice, and my grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the beach, the pool and the playground area. I hope we left the house as we found it---clean. Three females (humans) and two pups stayed in this cute little condo a few days prior to the 4th. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, once we found the beach that is. It's an island so the water surrounded us; but it took us some time to find the sandy beach, believe it or not! We used our vehicle to get around. However, I felt we could have walked but the other two ladies opted for the vehicle. All in all, we had a very nice stay.

There is a lot to do on St. Simons, as I'm sure you found out. The beach is not very far from the condo. Just go toward the pier (about 3 blocks), turn left on Beach Drive, and continue to Massengale Park. It has the best swimming beach on the island with plenty of parking, changing rooms, and picnic tables.

Danele- Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for our family to spend our vacation time together. The condo was perfect-clean, cute & the master bed was heaven! Our youngest daughter loved being so close to the playground & had so much fun swimming & feeding the ducks. It was our first time to St. Simon's Island & we all agreed that it is a beautiful place & very family friendly! We loved the village area & Neptune Park-so many fun things to do. My husband and I visited St Simon's Island for the first time and stayed in this condo. It was immaculate and spacious. We loved the location - closeby to pier, restaurants, and sites. We traveled with our little yorkie mix and the condo was perfect for her being on the ground floor with a gated patio. Thank you so much! We will be back.

We are so happy that we chose this condo. It was clean and well equipped. We even used the bikes. I made lots of use of the patio. There was no need to leave the grounds except to go the beach. The heated pool was comfortable and not crowded. we watched the mama duck call her ducklings into the water. A shame that I did not have a recorder with me. We will definately be back for a longer stay.
