  Excelent appartment for up to 5 people! Excelent location, completelly equipped and very confortable! Very near to pharmacies and supermarkets, you can eat outside or puchase your food and cook at home. And Tonya is the greatest hostess!! makes you feel at home in NY! Thanks Tonya!

  Sorry for the late review. We loved this place! It was perfect for a family with two teenagers who slept in the loft. Winston was so helpful. So convenient to the subway or just hop in a cab. We had a quick four days in the city and this was the perfect place for us. Clean and well maintained. Thanks for a great little place to stay. We hope to be back someday.

  I enjoyed the location of the loft apartment and the funky-ness of the building. We didn't use the kitchen at all. The shower grossed me out as the walls had mildew/mold on them and the hot water knobs were hard to figure out. Old food was left in the fridge from the previous tenant. We also had to wait for our towels. That being said, the easy access to the subway and the easy access to other sites in NY were great.

  Owner response: Well i have people come clean the place and no one has ever complained about mildew. But i checked after they left and there wasn't any! My place isn't brand new but its alway clean! As far as the knobs i mean left is hot and right is cold, labeled, pretty standard circular knobs! I try and leave simple things in the fridge for my clients, butter, ketchup, water, etc. Never had someone complain about that but i will take it out from now on as its a issue. Also yes they had to wait an hour for their towels but there were 5 of them and requested am extra set even though there were 6 towels in there already. Try and please everyone but everyone needs different things :)!

  My family had a wonderfully fun time staying in this little slice of NYC authenticity. Tonya was concerned about the 5 of us fitting the small space, but the loft (very low ceiling) was perfect for our grandsons. We hit a couple of snags but the owner was on site during part of our stay and saw to it that things were put to rights. The markets (open on weekends) are directly across the street, great restaurants abound and there are ample opportunities to people watch in this great section of the city. VRBO is not for those used to lots of attention, concierge services or daily cleaning. My family is resourceful and more interested in the experience of staying in an interesting neighborhood. BTW, the elevator to our 4th foor loft was greatly appreciated!

  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It had everything we needed (except for a DVD player - we had an evening of nasty weather and it would have been cool to sit in and watch a movie), the beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. Very close to stores for supplies, the subway, restaurants, everything. AND it had an elevator!! Check in and out couldn't have been easier, would definitely stay here again:) I wish the sleeping loft stairs were still white like in the photo, the black steps were hard to see without turning on a light when making a bathroom run. Could hear neighbor noise, but nothing new in NYC.
