2nd Time is another Charm

Had wonderful stay despite the rain and colder weather. Came here about 3 years ago, also in the spring, and had unseasonably fantastic weather with sunshine and 70+ degrees each day. We didn't have that kind of luck this year, but the location was once again fantastic. The creek, more like a river, was raging due to the great amount of rain. It was fun to watch the changing water levels and speed of the river each day. Would definitely return again!

Fantastic weekend stay at Log Cabin On Sleepy Creek!!!!!!!

We had a GREAT time at the cabin! We absolutely loved the location. Feet away from the creek? Yes please. There were two other houses near the cabin, but with facing the creek and the woods it felt very secluded indeed. We also really appreciated the fact that we didn’t need to bring any bedding or towels. Plenty of dishes as well as plastic glasses so you didn’t need to worry about breaking anything outside by the fire. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable and big :) All of the appliances worked and the house was very clean and well maintained. There also was plenty to do in the area within 30 minutes away. But with just being there one full day, there was no way we were leaving. I can’t stress enough how much we loved the location. The owner, Kate, was very nice as well. Super quick to respond to messages. We will absolutely consider renting this property again in the future!!

A quiet getaway

My wife and I came to celebrate our recent wedding & had the most serene and relaxing time. The combination of the water of the river and the silence of the woods - it is beautiful there!

Fabulous

Truly an awesome space, well designed, convenient location. Incredible porch with view of the creek- we would love to return in warmer weather to sit outside longer and listen to the water.

Hello! We are David and Kate. We live close by in Frederick, MD along with most of our adult children and grandchildren. We are nature lovers and outdoor adventurers and would love to share our dream cabin with you.

Why they chose this property

Sleepy Creek Cabin is a dream come true for us. Something about the mixture of arts, wellness, and natural beauty of Berkeley Springs kept us returning to this historic town. We finally decided we had to have a place of our own. When we first arrived at the cabin, saw the view of the water right from the deck, the privacy of the woods, and the beauty of the vaulted ceilings within, we knew this place was 'the one'. We lovingly renovated the cabin to what we refer to as 'Rustic Luxury'. No where on earth have we felt the peace as at Sleepy Creek Cabin and we hope to pass that on and let others experience the unique serenity this special place has to offer.

What makes this property unique

Complete privacy is what you will experience. Sitting on the deck facing the creek you will not see another house or cabin. If you need a break from life in the fast lane, this is it. We love the fact that within 10-15 minutes we can be in town to eat at fine restaurants, tour art galleries, antique shops, or get a massage. Also close by are local parks to boat, fish, hike, run, bike, or ride horses. It truly is the best of all worlds.
