  This was our 3rd year in this house and it was better than ever. The house has had great improvements made and the kitchen is well stocked. We had 13 guys comfortably staying in the house. There is a great bar/restaurant a block and a half away that serves great food and great golf courses nearby. The pool was beautiful and the maintenance people were very prompt to answer our call about wifi within the house. Thanks again for a great year!

  Me and 15 of my buddies recently stayed here and it was fantastic. I have no idea what Julie from Ohio is talking about, but we couldn't have asked for a better house. The place is huge, and it's two blocks from the bars, beach, shops, etc. We were a group of 16 guys, so we may not be the best judges of cleanliness or whatnot, but the place seemed immaculate. Definitely not caked with dust. There was plenty of fridge space (3 fridges) for a large group like ours, the family room was big enough for us all to sit comfortably and do our fantasy football draft (we're a bunch of nerds), and the pool was big enough for us to have a riveting game of 4 vs. 4 water polo.....the back yard is fenced in and I promise the pictures don't do the size of the property/pool justice. I think the best compliment I can give this house is if we come back to Isle of Palms again next year for our draft, we're going to stay here again.......if we're welcome back that is! :)

  My family and I had a fantastic time in this nicely furnished beach house. Nineteen of us had plenty of elbow room in the spacious and well-designed layout. We used the grill every evening and the children loved the pool. The house is well-situated on the Isle of Palms, an easy walk to the beach, several shops, and a little nightlife. I highly recommend this rental property for family reunions.

  This large house comfortably accommodated 13 adults and 9 children ages 8-18. Location description accurate--so close and convenient/short walking distance to downtown IOP shops and restaurants and beach access. Very nice pool and large enough yard to enjoy the volleyball net. Foosball and pool table were big hits. Large kitchen--2 refrigerators inside a nice amenity. Owners easily reachable by phone. Broken pool deck items replaced within 24 hours after reporting. More than adequate parking. House is older and has some wear and tear/mildew on porch chairs, but nothing to keep us from enjoying our visit.

  This house is a great location to the beach and to the small strip area of restaurants and shops. There were 23 people in our family and the house accomodated all of us nicely. The owners were extremely easy to reach and the one problem we did have was taken care of right away. We are vacationing together again in 2013 and have booked this house again. It was perfect!!! The memories at this house are priceless for my parents and rest of the family!!!

  When I contacted this owner regarding the cleanliness of her home, she assured me that it was clean enough for my two grandchildren that were crawling, and for all my other grandchildren as well. Needless to say, because of all of the other problems we had to deal with, the floors were never even addressed. They were dirty and the carpets were very stained. Windows would not lock, the rear door did not lock, smoke alarms did not work, the faucet and cabinet fronts were falling off in the kitchen. Shower curtains were moldy, sinks did not drain, broken chairs and debris were on the patio. The owner did address many of the issues when we called and complained, but even the maintenance man who came to fix it said the home was in "poor condition" and that we were right to expect much more than we got. He pulled off the air conditioner filter and there was over an inch thick of dust on it! He fixed the drains and faucets, replaced the shower curtains and the locks on the door and windows. The carpet was not cleaned because the maintenance people were already there 2 days and the landscappers one day and we did not want to have wet carpets to deal with during our week stay, also. We lived with the dirty floors and steps going up to the second and third floors and when I told the owner how disappointed I was, she did not even appologize! She insinuated that I was wrong for expecting to get what she said I would get when I signed the contract. I have since talked to several beach property owners who have rentals and they said she was way out of line and that we should have been treated with respect and compensated for what we had to deal with. They also advised us not to let this matter rest because of the way we were treated. The home does have a nice layout for a large extended family but sorely lacks TLC and an honest owner!

  My family recently rented this home for our family vacation. Let me begin by stating this home was extremely filthy and not maintained at all. Upon entering the home we had to call back their cleaning staff (that just left) because they failed to clean the toilets and bathtubs. The stairs had 2 inches of dust on them. The carpets have stains all over them and our feet would turn black just from walking around the house. The back doors that led to the screened in patio were completly off track and we were unable to lock the doors until the following day when the maitenance man came in. The window locks were breaking off and we could not lock the windows either. Smoke detectors did not work. Some didnt even have batteries! The cabinent doors are fake. They are actually plastic coverings which were falling off on multiple cabinets. The kitchen faucet was also falling off. The pool liner is caving in. The yard had weeds 2 feet tall. There were broken lawn chairs and screens laying around. The bathtub drains were not draining. Toilet paper holders were falling off walls. The master bedroom and double queen bedrooms door handles fell off. The pool table is in such bad condition that you cant even properly use it. The elevator seemed very shaky, and the light burned out which made it completely pitch black in there. Several lamps were missing lightbulbs. The air filters hadnt been changed in months. One of the pullout couches is completely broken. 3 TV's did not work. Trash was found behind nighstands in 2 of the rooms. The hammock was broken. It almost became a joke to my family about what would go wrong next! This was not the home we expected. Please save your money and look elsewhere. This is definitely not worth the price!!

  My daughter got married at the Citadel Beach House, so I rented this house for our family to stay in. This house was just perfect. It had plenty of room and was just in a perfect location. I would totally recommend this house to anyone. Also, a very nice pool. I will most definitely rent this house again.

  What a wonderful place to spend the week leading up to our daughters wedding! From the youngest(20 months), to the oldest(almost 90), everyone enjoyed themselves immensely! The weather was beautiful all week, except for Fri, so the pool and the screened in porch were well used! Having the elevator was so wonderful for our 3 elderly guests. It allowed them to get from floor to floor and out to the pool with such ease. With the beach less than a 5 minute walk away, several trips a day was not out of the question! Everyone wants to do it again next year! If you're looking for a place for a large number of people.... look no further!!!
