"My fiance and I rented the farmhouse for a weekend getaway with the hopes of catching the fall leaves at their peak. We were not only able to enjoy the beautiful colors of Autumn, but we got so much more by staying at the farmhouse. First, when we arrived on Friday afternoon, we were greeted by 7 wild turkeys roaming the grassy hills out behind the farmhouse. There were 3 horses in a corral right outside the back door of the farmhouse, and the cutest little black and white goat in a pen nearby (the other goat was away for breeding). Being the animal lover that I am, all of this thrilled me from the get-go. The farmhouse itself was absolutely charming. I loved the historical and rustic aspect of it. It was chock-full of antiques. Each time you sit and look around the room, you will see something you didn't notice before. And, the house had all the modern conveniences you need, unless you're a stickler for a dishwasher. Personally, I didn't mind at all, and I normally hate washing dishes, but when you get to watch wild turkey and horses out the window while washing dishes, it doesn't seem so bad. In fact, I fell in love with the farmhouse sink. The location of the house is fantastic too. My fiance and I intentionally took the long way to get there, so that we could drive down some of the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is not too far away. And it is also close to Asheville and Biltmore, not that we felt the need to go there, since we had so much to enjoy right there at our fingertips. This trip will probably remain in my memory as one of my absolute favorites! If you're looking for a unique vacation experience that offers so much more than a hotel stay would, you've found it. I would definately recommend O'Kelley's Farmhouse!"

"The house is beautiful, I wish I had this kitchen in my house. We had 4 generations with ages from 1 to 82 together and we had a blast. We all had plenty of room to be together or get away for some quiet time. The view from the back porch is breathtaking. We would absolutely recommend this house to others and we would stay again. The owner was very helpful before and during our stay."

"I was looking for a secluded and relaxing place to stay for our vacation and this cabin had it all. The master bedroom was awesome!! Loved the deck with the hot tub. I would sit out there in the morning, drink my coffee and enjoy the peacefulness. The owners provided everything we would need and you can tell they take great pride in their property. There is so much to do in the area and the cabin was in a great location. My husband had a great time riding on the Tail of the Dragon. We to the Wheels through Time motorcycle museum in Maggie Valley, Fontana Dam, drove on the Cherohala Skyway, went up to Clingman's Dome in the Smokey Mountains, and went to Deep Creek outside of Bryson City. We had one of the best vacations we have ever had and I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to vacation in the area."

"We are currently staying at this beautiful home in Apple county! We have a two-year old son and he is having the time of his life. He loves splashing in the little creek and we have enjoyed sitting by the fire every night. The home is very spacious and has everything we need. Our favorite part is the separation from the hustle and bustle. It's so quiet and beautiful up here and we will certainly be back next year."
