"My husband and I had a lovely weekend at High Rock View. Matthew was very accommodating and the whole cabin was well appointed with thoughtful touches and instructions. The road in was shockingly steep, but we drove a hyundai accent up there no problem and it is by no means a strong car. And yes, there were lots of ladybugs, but the 'ladybug pickup' dustbuster was a perfect solution. The hot tub was perfect and the view was breathtaking. It was a wonderful relaxing weekend for the two of us. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!"

"Beautiful home overlooking a gorgeous, unspoiled view of Lake Santeetlah. We had a lovely pre-Thanksgiving weekend at the Dragonfly Cottage and found the owner to be very easy to work with and the cabin an absolute delight to stay in. Two recommendations: ask for precise directions to the cottage because although there are only two homes on the street, it's in a small subdivision and is actually not that easy to find, especially at dusk; and also if you want to play games or watch movies while at the cottage, plan to bring your own as this cottage, unlike all the others we've rented is happily not strewn with junk! You won't find signs everywhere nor will you find ratty decks of cards, games, or movies that don't work! You may want to bring matches or a lighter and firewood too.
The Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest is nearby and is a beautiful park with a fun, easy hiking trail. Also, the Santeetlah Dam is interesting to visit, and Robbinsville is nearby for groceries or other needs."

"We rented this wonderful house for three nights. Rain or shine, the views from the screened porch were awe-inspiring--the photos don't do it justice. The place is well-equipped and comfortable--we ate in two of our three nights because we felt so relaxed we didn't want to go out, and the kitchen had everything we needed (and the view of the mountains from beside the grill is conducive to philosophical thoughts while grilling and sipping a glass of wine!) The house is convenient to attractions and dining in and around Sapphire, Cashiers and Highlands. It's probably a stretch for more than four people because of the layout of the interior, and I'm not sure it's a good place for kids (though there are three TVs and two DVD players, always helpful in a pinch.) The interior communal living space is limited, but with that porch who wants to be inside? I highly recommend this property and hope to visit again."

"Eight men (7 bikes & 1 truck) headed to the NC/TN mountains for a 4-day getaway in search of great riding. We needed lodging for up to 10 and was lucky to find Linda's rentals. Linda was great in providing insight to the Rose Manor and Eco Cabin accommodations during our phone conversations. Linda made the scheduling really easy and was there to welcome us when we arrived. Linda provided enough bedding options that every guy had their own bed with a couple to spare. There are 3-4 King/Full/Double beds and a few twins spread around in different places if you need more. The highlight of the location is the fire pit and grill setup down the stone stairs from the lodging. We cooked out there 2 of 3 nights and talked, joked, laughed, and lied to each other until after midnight each evening. Although the driveway is grass/gravel it was very solid and we all drove up and parked next to the house. Another highlight for bikers is Linda's place is just off Hwy 28 so you get at least 5 miles of twisty road riding every time you leave from and come to the lodging. We were able to ride through the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, ride the Tail of the Dragon (US 129), and visit the Wheels Through Time motorcycle museum in Maggy Valley, this is a must for any motorcycle enthusiast. Everywhere you go provided a wonderful view, great roads, and friendly people."
