Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the complementary tram (seasonal) or bikes! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Prominence Beach Shuttle runs seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The Town of Prominence offers a large resort style community pool over 5,000 sq ft! The pool is just a very short walk away providing cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and fitness center!
Nearby restaurants to The Town of Prominence 30A include The Hub which offers several restaurants including - Reds Chicken Shack, Crave Roadside Burgers, Mile Marker 15, Local Smoke, American Drinking Post, Mr. Freeze, The Hub Taco Truck, as well as many more!

Beautiful and comfortable home in a quaint neighborhood. It truly is the closest house to the pool, which is stunning. The Hub is right across the street, fun for the whole family. Deer Lake State Park right down the street is the gem of 30-A. The property management was super nice and easy to work with.
Great place, everything is very well appointed. We spent half the day at the pool and half the day at the beach daily. We drove our car to deer park lake daily...the beach is stunning (the most scenic on 30a). There is a $3 daily rate for that beach park.

Great Location and Brand New!
I'm a REALTOR and did a ton of research prior to going with this place. It was just my wife and I returning for our anniversary, so no kids. This is a new development with ongoing construction, but don't let that bother you. The building company and workers did not disturb us one bit. The inside decor and everything provided was great. Added plus were the bikes and beach chairs. May I suggest a basket or cup holder on the bikes for future guests, but wasn't a deal killer for us. I was impressed with the layout, location, and development. The pool is large and offers plenty of room with grills and bathrooms. It was not crowded, but we came before the summer rush. I read someone complain about the location to the beach. These are not right on the water, and it's hard to find something nice and affordable on 30A on the water. We rode the bikes one morning to Cowgirl Kitchen which is 8 miles round trip. For the beach we decided to drive our car to Deer Lake State Park. There is about a 100 yard boardwalk that takes you out to the beach which is beautiful. If you have a lot of stuff to carry I would suggest the other beach assess, but if not this is the place. In peak season they have a shuttle to the public beach access. Across the street they have The Hub which is great for food, entertainment, and some shopping. Great cigar shop too! We loved this location because it was right between Rosemary Beach and Seaside without the crazy prices. We ate at Restaurant Paradis in Rosemary, George's in Alys Beach (only beer & wine), Cafe Thirty A along 30A, Grits & Grind in Rosemary, and Stinky's. These we would highly recommend and go back! I rode bike over to The Hub for a couple cocktails while the wife got ready. We would gladly come back to The Town of Prominence and stay again.

We will definitely be back! This unit is very spacious and had everything we needed. We used the Bramble Grove beach access in Seagrove. This is our second trip to The Prominence. We love going to The Hub.
