Tahoe Time Vacation Rentals is a locally owned and operated, boutique-style company—not a large nationwide chain. As a small, family-run business, we take pride in offering a personalized, hands-on approach to hospitality. Our homes are carefully selected and located in the quieter, more scenic areas of Lake Tahoe, including the California North Shore, Olympic Valley, Alpine Meadows, the West Shore down to Rubicon Bay, and the Palisades at Tahoe ski area.

As long-time locals (thirty plus years), we are always available to assist with your stay, ensuring a seamless and memorable Tahoe experience from booking to check-out. Whether you're here for adventure, relaxation, or a bit of both, we're committed to making your time in Tahoe truly special.
REQUIRED COUNTY STR PERMIT INFORMATION: STR 22-6113 | TOT #5651 | Max Occupancy is 8 | 4 Parking Spaces. Parking on the street is strictly prohibited. All vehicles must be parked in the driveway and/or garage at all times. Guest must agree to read and comply with Placer County's Good Neighbor Policies.
County Rules As part of the Short-Term Rental Permit for this home, the county asks that we share the important rules and regulations with you. We appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines listed below, also included in your signed Vacation Rental Agreement.
Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement.
Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the garage and/or driveway.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9pm-8am, seven days a week. Per the County: No sound may be audible from the property line during quiet hours. Amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside or be audible from the parcel line of any short-term rental at any time.
Lights Out: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors at night.
Red Flag Warnings: Due to high risk of wildfire in our area, bonfires, charcoal barbecues, and wood-burning fire pits are always prohibited. On designated Red Flag Warning Days—when fire danger is especially severe due to dry conditions and high winds—all outdoor fires are prohibited, including gas grills and gas fire pits. These restrictions come directly from the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and must be followed for everyone's safety. It is each guest's responsibility to stay informed about Red Flag Warnings. They are announced on local news, radio, and social media, and you'll also see signs posted at fire stations throughout the area.
Winter Driving: Many highways, access roads, and driveways in the Tahoe area can become icy during the winter. For your safety, it's essential that between November 1st and April 30th your vehicle is winter-ready. Make sure brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater, and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires should be properly inflated with excellent tread, and you should always carry tire chains—even if you have an AWD/4WD vehicle. Double-check that your chains fit your tires and are in good working order. On many state highways and county roads, four-wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel. Please be prepared for winter conditions: dress appropriately, stay in bounds at ski resorts and if you get lost, remain in place.
Garbage & Bears: Please do not feed the bears. Black bears are very common in this area and, over time, many have become used to human food and trash. Because they no longer have a natural fear of people, you may see them during your spring, summer, or fall stay. Feeding bears is illegal, and leaving food outside, trash unsecured, or doors and windows unlocked can lead to serious property damage to both homes and vehicles. To help prevent this, all waste must be placed in bear-proof bins or dumpsters and the latches secured. Placer County sorts recycling from the waste for you at our materials recovery facilities.

Amazing Lake Tahoe cabin! The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day out, and the open-concept living area made it so easy (and fun) to hang out and chat with friends. Cozy, comfortable, and ideal for a group trip—would absolutely stay here again!
Spacious, clean, renovated, convenient for skiing at Palisades and getting groceries/eating out. Hot tub was nice. 1 room did have an insect issue, which we reported. Property manager responded promptly, though it did limit use of one room.

So glad this guest enjoyed the space, location, and that they got to relax in the hot tub after their Tahoe adventures. While this time of year can occasionally bring a short “flying ant” season, we completely understand how that could impact guests’ stay. We provided a few simple remedies during this guest’s visit but disappointed to hear they were not utilized.
The home has since had pest control service and everything is good to go!
Great location. Easy walk to the lake, Skylandia Beach. To note- there is a summer camp at Skylandia Beach from 11am to 3pm each day, so you cannot access the beach during those times. House was well stocked and clean.
Really enjoyed staying at this home. It was very clean and had everything we needed to have a good time. I found the master bedroom a little colder than the rest of the house in winter, but certainly not problematic and easily managed with the small space heater provided. Would love to stay here again.
Our stay was amazing. Everything worked perfectly and the home was nice and warm when we got there. They had everything needed for us to enjoy our 3 day stay. Washer and dryer worked, dishwasher, tv, heater, fridge, etc. They had games for us to play which was a plus. This home is perfectly located near shops and hiking trails. We will definelty be booking again.
Perfect place to stay for a long weekend! It’s nestled in between Tahoe City and Lake Forest, and you are only 15 min from Palisades! We skied all weekend, and had a blast in tahoe city at the bars and restaurants. The Hot tub also made for a great post-skiing activity. Would highly recommend staying here with friends or family! So cozy!
Great place to stay. There were 4 of us including 2 children. We didn't even need all the rooms. Property management was A+, location was superb, kitchen was well stocked, hot tub offered a nice way to relax at the end of the day. Stayed in the summer so can't comment about winter. Would definitely stay again.
We made a last minute plan to bring the family up to Tahoe for Christmas. This house was the perfect size for all six of us. It is comfortable and spacious everything is in excellent condition. The process of booking, checking in and checking out were smooth and seamless. We are very grateful to have had this opportunity to make a very unique holiday for our family.
We had not anticipated being snowed in in October, but the house was well equipped to handle even that surprise. Nice layout allowed our 2 year-old granddaughter to nap in the 4th bedroom despite a rowdy game of dominoes in the kitchen. Hot tub was wonderful! If there is any inclement weather follow directions to come in on I80; the “scenic” NV431 becomes treacherous
Couple issues:
-Some items missing like shampoo so we had to buy some ourselves.
-The worst part was WiFi is so slow it’s unusable. Literally sub 2 Mbps. They shouldn’t even list it as an amenity
Other than that everything else was good
My family and I really enjoyed staying at the house. The bedroom layout (4 bedrooms), hot tub, and well stocked kitchen were all amazing.
The main downside is the Internet was extremely poor and there was no streaming service for the TV. So, we all ended up using our hotspots to do anything, including one of us who had to work remotely while we were there. The listing clearly said high speed internet. We had no problems with the Internet at the other house we stayed at during the same week. Also, we were disappointed to find that there is no streaming service at this house. It did have cable, but we’ve stayed at a lot of rentals and haven’t seen one without streaming in the last five years.
Beautiful place, great kitchen supplies, roaring surf!
We loved everything about this place. The place was spotless, big TV, though we never turned it on. A/C control in every room, so we were able to chill at night and turn it off during the day when we were out. The kitchen was exceptional. Even the knives were sharp in the kitchen--how often does that happen?
If I had to find some constructive criticism to give, the living room furniture was not comfortable. So we sat most nights at the large dining table, or on the patio. We did have some rain, so we mostly stayed in our room then. But it's durable stuff, and I'm sure that it's really hard to keep comfy furniture in good shape when it's used a lot. The bed in the front bedroom was not too comfortable for the other couple we were with. The other one was splendid (that's the one my husband and I took, and it was super!)
Overall, it was an excellent unit. Best one we've ever stayed in, and I hope to stay there again!
Thank you!
We brought our family to Lake Tahoe for the first time, and the Tahoe City location was central to everything we wanted to do, and the proximity to Skylandia Beach made for quick trips to swim.
The beds were clean and comfortable.
The kitchen was well equipped.
There were games to play as well.
The driveway also has room for our boat and Expedition without any trouble.
We had a great long weekend at the property! Easy walk to the beach, and the house was exactly as expected. A hot tub issue was quickly resolved, and we’d definitely stay here again!
We loved the space! The hot tub was great and the barbecue too! I had my coffee out on deck ❤️
The location made it easy to do Tahoe city adventures as well as Incline Village and the state Park beach down the road was lovely as well! Definitely would come back!
Terrific location, spacious and clean. The jacuzzi on the deck was a perfect wind down after an active day. Thank you so much!
