Newly renovated and brand new to the rental market! Enjoy all that Asheville has to offer with a beautiful riverfront setting and convenience to downtown Asheville, Weaverville and Marshall. This historic 1940 rock cottage is full of charm but has the modern amenities that make it the perfect riverfront getaway.
You will never be at a loss for things to do. Shop and dine in dynamic downtown Asheville, tour nearby breweries, relax on the upstairs deck overlooking the river, visit the Biltmore Estate, tube or kayak the river with a local outfitter, visit the quaint bakeries and coffee shops in downtown Weaverville, hike to overlooks or waterfalls, play lawn games by the river, roast marshmallows in the fire-pit. I am happy to help with recommendations. The location of this house is perfect for those who want easy access to downtown but also want to experience the beautiful outdoors. You are an easy 15 minute drive to downtown Asheville or Biltmore (mostly freeway), 5 minutes to I-26, 10 minutes to downtown Weaverville, and 15 minutes to Marshall. Publix, Walmart, an ABC Store, CVS, and a busy (small town) business district are within a 5 minute drive.
On the main level, the living room features a flat screen TV, a leather couch, down-stuffed arm chairs, and a cozy wood stove. The kitchen has been updated with stainless steel appliances and is well furnished with dishware, utensils, cooking tools and small appliances. Also located on the main floor is the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and balcony overlooking the river, a bedroom with two twin beds and a half bath in the hallway. Upstairs is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, a queen bedroom, and a twin/trundle bedroom.
But you may never want to be inside! Outdoors you have plenty of space to enjoy the river frontage - a yard with a fire pit, outdoor seating, river access, a picnic table, a deck off of the kitchen, a balcony off of the master bedroom, and a gas grill.

Charming home on beautiful riverfront property
Our family had a nice stay at this charming, well-appointed home. We especially enjoyed the large backyard and amazing riverfront views. Sarah was an attentive, gracious hostess -- right down to the bottle of wine and local gourmet popcorn she left to welcome us!
Note that the smaller upstairs bedroom doesn't have an HVAC vent, so it was very warm during the day even with the fan blowing full blast. Even so, we would highly recommend this property!
A beautiful, well appointed and well decorated home right on the river!! Beautiful views from the deck and backyard of the French broad river. Very tranquil and peaceful, yet close to Asheville. The owner was very pleasant and easy to work with. She was quick in response and very helpful. She gave great tips of things to do in the area. She even gave us lots of extra firewood for the fire pit. Would highly recommend this property!
This property was beautiful, comfortable, and clean.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Great house for a reunion
We booked this house for a reunion with my college girlfriends and it was absolutely perfect. The house was very clean with great details that did not go unnoticed. There were fresh flowers in almost every room, a bottle of Biltmore wine and glasses out upon our arrival, and make up remover wipes in the bathrooms, which was exciting to us ladies! It was the perfect mix of mountainous retreat and city living, located only 15 minutes away from downtown Asheville. The bonfire pit directly in the backyard was an exciting activity and the river only emphasized our feeling of the house being a "retreat". It was very comfortable for staying in and catching up, while convenient for hoping in the car for night out. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone! Thank you for a great stay!
Relaxing Weekend Away
My husband and I rented this house for a long weekend away for us and three couple friends. It was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed sitting by the river, being so close to Asheville, and the overall character of the house was loved by all. Sarah was awesome to work with and available any time I had a question! I highly recommend staying here if you're ever in the Asheville area!
Beautiful and newly updated
