Con una caminata de 2 minutos a la parada de autobús local gratuita, esta casa es perfecta tanto para el verano como para el invierno. Aunque está a poca distancia a pie de todos los restaurantes y tiendas, la casa está ubicada en un callejón tranquilo paralelo a la avenida Elk con vistas a las montañas. La cafetería local y el mercado de alimentos de Mountain Earth Health están justo enfrente. La casa ha sido recientemente renovada con suelos de madera clara, ventanas y acogedores muebles para el hogar.

Very cute and cozy house in historic Crested Butte

The property is very well kept and was nice & cozy for our summer getaway weekend. The kitchen area especially was inviting and made us want to stay in and cook for ourselves, which we did. To us, the home has a European feel in the way it is appointed (fixtures, furnishings, etc). We loved the wooden floors. We also like the way the owner has made use of all the little nooks and corners. There are a few odd things, however - for instance, there is no microwave or television in the home. We couldn't locate a wine bottle opener either. Nonetheless, we made due and enjoyed ourselves all the same. (We stayed in one night and completed a jigsaw puzzle together while listening to music and sipping wine - a nice change a typical vacation evening). The home was very clean and tidy when we arrived, which we appreciated. The beds were comfortable and welcoming. And it had a nice, clean smell to it. (I'm an "olfactory person" who has a keen sense of smell and I appreciate it when a place smells clean). We couldn't ask for a better location to downtown activities either. A local coffee shop and the Catholic church were literally a 3-minute walk. In short, I'd gladly come back and would recommend the property to small families or couples,

Hi Kelly, Thank you so much for you review and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I'm sorry the wine opener had disappeared... I'll make sure it's replaced. I have made a decision not to have a TV or microwave as I prefer to keep the house less cluttered and focus on the more simple pleasures in life. I'm glad you enjoyed the puzzle!

Great stay

Pics don't do it justice. Very open downstairs and comfortable for 4 adults. Efficient use of space. Small coffee maker and no microwave - didn't care as it's a nice kitchen. 50' off Elk but still quiet.

Delightful home off Elk

Jane's home is perfect in every way - warm and welcoming, with a delightful boho vibe. The kitchen is perfectly appointed for those who enjoy cooking, and the beds were utter heaven. We had a wonderful mini-break, close to shops and restaurants.

Highly recommend!

Returned to this lovely house with my family and friends this summer. The clean, open plan, well appointed accommodation is very flexible with lovely beds and Jane our excellent host was welcoming as ever. The house is situated in the heart of Crested Butte but we were not disturbed by the hustle and bustle as it’s in an alley at the quiet end of Elk Avenue. The free local bus services were a big plus as we didn’t need to use our car much to access the many wonderful activities set in beautiful scenery and all the cool shops and restaurants were nearby. I highly recommend this rental!

This house is open and spacious, with beautiful white open rooms and wooden floors. The double glazed windows and new bedding/mattresses make the house warm and cozy. The location is ideal for enjoying the local life and community events whilst also getting out into the outdoors. The open plan kitchen with lounge make this space great for our family or groups of friends on a weekend trip. We would definitely stay here again, cannot recommend it highly enough! The bath-tub and brand new stove/oven was much appreciated.

Sweet space in the heart of town

Comfy, cozy space in the heart of Crested Butte. Really love the open floorplan and rustic feel (almost a little European). Clearly a place well-loved. Minutes walk to everything CB has to offer ~ from the local shops, restaurants and cafe's (all within a few blocks) to the bus stop to take the free shuttle to the mountain for hikes and skiing. Would absolutely stay there again ~ and not want to leave. :)

The place were great. The host was super friendly and easy going. She made herself available when we needed more information. The location was amazing too. We really enjoyed spending the week here. Overall, it was a great experience. We will definitely come back.

A Beautiful Place to Stay!

This is such a beautiful home. My family and I were blessed to stay here for the holidays. The location is incredible. My partner and I are both yogis and we loved having 2 different yoga studios (Yoga for the Peaceful, and the CB Yoga COOP) in walking distance (2 mins) from our front door. Also, we were 3 minutes away from the bus stop and within 2-5 minutes from every restaurant in town. As I said before, the location is amazing. As for the home.... when you walk in you immediately pick up on a feeling of ease, flow, and comfort. The kitchen is stunning and equipped with everything you need. The house is as clean as a button and I would highly recommend this place to a friend or family member. The owner of the house, Jane, is such a sweet heart and she was so easy and professional to work with, in regarding the logistics. We had to go out to the grocery store (2 minutes walking) and get the necessaries (tahini, coconut oil, and veggies ;) As for activities, we love to ski and practice yoga... CB is the place for that! The whole family really loves the Guild Cafe, the atmosphere is comforting, the food is healthy, and the bread makes us all very happy. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Highly recommended

I've been to Crested Butte before and loved it. Returned with my adult children for a week in September and a friend recommended host Jane for the rental. She was really welcoming/helpful. The house is surprisingly spacious for 4 people (by our London UK standards anyway) and we loved the well kitted, nice and clean open-plan/chalet style accommodation. My favourite bit was the brilliant purpose-built kitchen - Haha thanks Jane, I want one for myself! There's adjacent parking but we needn't have bothered bringing a car as the house is on the quiet end of the main road, Elk Avenue. This beautiful small town remains very accessible on foot and the free local public transport gets you around the awesome main tourist spots/ski resorts. Great local restaurants/shops/bars and we had a wonderful time hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and rafting. Also really enjoyed the live music in the bars and local park as well as the local theatre. Love this Crested Butte and highly recommend this rental!

Light, modern house!

Such comfy beds! Loved this house for easy access to restaurants, shops, the free bus and outdoor trails. Everything is walking distance through CB's historic buildings. The refurbishments make the house feel cozy and light. Nice to have a dishwasher. The bath-tub was a great size, so relaxing after long days outside. I highly recommend staying here!

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

This is an absolutely gorgeous, cozy home! Excellent location to feel a part of all town events, beautiful views of the mountains and easy access to recreation trails. I couldn't be happier with my stay and cannot wait to be back!

Perfect location!

Beautiful refurnished house in downtown CB! We loved the wood floors, modern appliances & furnishings. Beds were super comfy. The windows gave in lots of light with a view of the mountains. Although in town, the house's location on the alley made it very peaceful and quiet. We loved walking to the local coffee shops and restaurants in the evenings. Skiing on the mountain felt very close as was only a 1 - 2 min walk to bus to the base. It's nice to be in town to get a feel of local life. A great place to stay. We'll be back!
