Kiahuna Plantation Resort, on Poipu Beach, is one of the most popular destinations on Kauai. The property offers 35 acres of tropical gardens, lawns, and beachfront along with the famous South Shore sunshine.
Kiahuna Unit #155 is a second story (top floor) one bedroom Garden Paradise Category which is very quiet and private and has a beautiful view of the expansive central lawn area. It is a one minute walk to the beach where you may check out complimentary beach towels and chairs. Parking and high speed Wi-Fi internet access is also complimentary.
Access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club is also provided. This includes a beautiful pool with water slide, waterfall, shallow end sand beach, and hot tub; tennis courts; workout facility with weight room, weights, and cardio equipment. A personal trainer is available and daily classes (Except Monday) in Yoga, Aerobics, Core, Zumba, and more are available at a nominal charge.

Our friends recommended we stay at Kiahuna Plantation, and I chose James & Sandy's condo after a lot of research to find the perfect place! We could not have been any happier with our choice. The condo property has more of a resort feel with beautifully manicured grounds. This unit is set farther back from the street, so you don't get any road noise -- just the sound of breeze and birds! But, it's close enough to make it a quick walk across the street to the shopping center, or the Poipu Beach Athletic Club (where the pool, gym and a bar/restaurant are). This unit is also a very short walk down to the beach -- we visited several beaches across the island and it was by far our favorite beach in Kauai. Also onsite is the Plantation Gardens restaurant, which was our last and favorite dinner. Finally, another shopping center is just a short drive away as is Koloa -- so lots of restaurants in the proximity! The condo itself is small but beautifully renovated and very clean. Being on the second floor, we enjoyed the privacy and breezes from the screen door on the patio. We had an amazing time and I'd recommend this condo to any couple! My only suggestion would be to have a beach umbrella and towels in the condo. You can borrow towels down at the beach hut, but no umbrellas are offered there. We ended up renting one for the week, which was fine, and buying cheap beach towels for our trip to the north side of the island. But that's my only suggestion! Otherwise, perfection. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We hope to return.
We throughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful resort. Unit 155 is very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has every appliance and utensil you could possibly need to prepare meals (the best I've ever seen!). The resort enjoys direct access to the most beautiful beach and we also enjoyed the excellent facilities on offer (pool, gym, bbq). The owners were very easy to deal with and responded prompty to email queries.

Not only was it as advertised but everything and more has been included especially in the kitchen. The beach umbrella and cooler bag were my favorite extra accessories. The lanai was fantastic and the walk to the very clean and safe beach was just 60 seconds across a lush green lawn. Small restaurants and stores with basic food, wine and beer were within easy walking distance.
I have used vrbo and airbnd through Europe, New York City and the Pacific North West and for sure 155 is among the best rentals I have experienced.

This was a perfect condo. It is beautifully decorated. Has a well appointed kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again. It has a very nice lawn and garden view. It feels very open and gets a nice breeze. Places to eat and shop are directly across the street. The beach is perfect for swimming, surfing and snorkeling. Sheraton is next door if you want to stop for a cocktail on the beach. Beach chairs and towels are provided at the activity shack. We spent lots of time in the water and lounging on the grass in chairs. There are community bbqs. We used them several times. We really loved this place!!!
This was our 4th stay in this condo and and we had yet another perfect stay. The owners are really take care of their place with updates in decor. We've never needed something that wasn't provided in the condo. The kitchen is very well outfitted for any cooking you may want to do. The dishware, glassware and pots and pans are very high quality. The beach is a short 3 minute walk away. Kiahuna Plantation is a close walk to many restaurants and right on a great beach so for us it's the perfect place to stay Poipu.
This was our first time vacation in Kauai. We spent 1 week in this beautiful condo. The building is located on the property with a very short walk to a good beach. Right next to Sheraton hotel. This is a very well maintained property. Also only 3 min drive and maybe 10 min walk to Poipu Beach. It has snorkeling area and swimming areas. The unit looks exactly as shown on the pictures and very clean. Very good for a small 3-4 people. There were 3 of us. Both bed and sofa are very comfortable. The kitchen has every utensil you can think of including good quality pots, pans, coffee machine, blander, etc. Very good and easy communication with the owner Jim. I highly recommend this condo and will definitely come back again. Thank you Jim and Sandy.
