About the property

A private second story condo with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and sunsets with lovely island décor throughout. A comfy window seat provides an ideal respite to read and take in the many splendors of the ocean and reef below. Sealodge J9 offers a special privacy w/o any shared walls for optimal, quiet leisure. The lanai is situated so as to allow for a cool, tradewind reprieve after a sunny outing on the Island.

A fully equipped kitchen provides a rice cooker, coffee bean grinder, blender, new stove, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, indoor washer/dryer and all the necessary dishes for your dining pleasure.

The condo is equipped with wifi internet, new flat screen television, and Blu-ray DVD/CD player.

The bedrooms are newly decorated with stylish bedspreads and drapes with luxurious sheets, blankets, and pillows on the queen and two single beds. Bath towels are of the extra large and soft variety.

For your recreation we provide large beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, boogie boards.

Library is stocked with Kauai guide books and other reading material to suit all literary tastes.

This paradise at Sealodge is truly an experience of a lifetime.

Sealodge is located at the end of a small quiet side road, with no through traffic, that ends at a dramatic ocean bluff. The Sealodge condos front the ocean bluff on their lanai side and across the small road is jungle. A short hike from the condos brings you to the secluded Sealodge Beach. The jungle trail crosses a small stream then descends to a sandy beach. The ocean at Sealodge Beach is shallow and protected by a reef, making it ideal for snorkeling and swimming.

The Sealodge condos were built so you can see the rolling white water waves from the living room windows, the bedroom windows, and the lanai. From all three of these locations you can hear the surf, watch for whales, spinner dolphins, and exotic birds.

Relax and breath in the fragrant ocean breezes, enjoy the sunrise, moon rise, and frequent rainbows. There is a pool and BBQ area.

Sealodge is comfortable, quiet, and island casual. Whether your day beckons your adventurous spirit or a time of quiet relaxation, Sealodge offers it all at affordable rates.

Great location and incredible views, but these condos are old.

We loved the location of Sealodge! The condo itself had everything we needed and a relatively updated kitchen that we took advantage of. The only drawback for me was the musty smell of the apartment and the appearance of mold in the downstairs bathroom. Also, some of my clothes have a permanent musty smell that hasn't come out after washing from the drawers in the downstairs bedroom. Overall, it was spacious, clean, and convenient. However, if you are sensitive to mold the Sealodge condos are probably not for you.

The property is immaculate. The J9 condo is a 2nd floor unit with an upstairs bedroom that has 2 twin beds. The view was to die for. Every morning we woke up and looked out the window we thought we were still dreaming. The kitchen is quite functional and I would recommend either going to kostco or walmart for cheaper food. Groceries at foodland and safeway are very expensive, almost double the price we would pay on mainland. Sea lodge does have a beach cove that is mostly coral out to about 150 meters away from the beach. This makes it a protected environment from rip tides and a good place to snorkel. We saw many fish while snorkeling. I do advise packing multiple athletic shoes because the trail to the beach is EXTREMELY muddy and slippery. Remember it rains here almost every day and they recently had a lot of flooding. Naturally, the trail has some erosion that makes it dangerous for people in flipflops, the elderly, and small children. It would be easy to put a burried stick through your foot. This same advice applies if you go to Queen's bath, which is only 1 mile away from the condo.

Of note, there is NO AIR CONDITIONING. We were suprised by this, but the moderate temperature in the North made this condo do-able. We quickly got used to the no AC, but were occasionally warm at night or after getting back from the beach. There is wifi and a TV ( we didn't even turn the tv on). The bed was comfortable and the plumbing worked well. There were 2 boogie boards, 2 sand chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, and an ice chest available in the closet so no need to fly those over or buy them in town.
