Very comfortable 2 bedroom Shorebird condominium. First level - no ramps or stairs to climb! Perfect location for a relaxed beach getaway, yet close enough to enjoy both Santa Cruz and Monterey. This condo faces Monterey which lets you experience spectacular sunrises. Pajaro Dunes is a vacation destination that you will want to come back to time after time.

We are right on the beach! Just a quick walk out to the beach and enjoy! Cal King, Queen & Twin, and Sofa Sleeper in the living room. Comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests - great for 2 couples or families. We recently upgraded our fireplace in the living room - enjoy our electric fireplace while listening to the ocean from the deck.

Our home is tastefully decorated, clean and has everything you need. Fully furnished home, kitchen amenities, washer & dryer, internet access and much more.

Spend family fun playing Pickle Ball, tennis or basketball with courts located on site. Stop by our lobby where we offer an assortment of loaner sports equipment for our renters including pickle ball sets!

We are in a gated community close to shopping, golf, fine dining and surf. Step out your patio door and listen to the ocean waves crashing onto the shore. Admire the beauty of the sand dunes and enjoy miles of untouched shoreline. Collect sand dollars on the beach and watch the wildlife right outside your window.

Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Return furniture to its original position. Close all window coverings. Turn off all appliances and heaters. After loading the dishwasher, please do not leave any dishes behind in the sink.
Remove all recycling from home to outside bins
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Beautiful Location

Perfect getaway spot!

My teen sons and I love Pajaro Dunes! It’s a quick drive from the Bay Area Peninsula- the beach is never very crowded at all! This condo was well equipped, has a partial ocean view from the patio, and is only a few feet from beach access. Will definitely return!

Great beach vacation!

The condo was perfect for 2 couples and 3 little children. The condo had everything we could need from cooking supplies to extra blankets. The location can't be beat! It is literally steps to the beach. We were very happy and would gladly book again. Thanks!

Love the property the the nostalgic architecture of the condos was amazing I loved the courtyards of all the landscape everything was clean it was more than I expected this is a must for anyone looking for a nice quiet place if you're looking to party this is not your place if you're looking to relax and enjoy the coast do some fishing bonfires light music this is your place loved the serenity thank you to the owners for allowing us to enjoy your home

Five wonderful days

Our stay was precipitated by a memorial service for my nearly 100 year old aunt. Our stay at Pajaro provided a home for my wife and I and several other members of my family. Enjoyed the beds in particular and proximity to the beach. Aside from the drawback of very weak wifi, the unit we rented, though dated, was comfortable.

Lovely winter getaway

Trip was during a very wet week and the unit worked out perfectly. Bought a bunch of Duraflame logs, had warm drinks, and watched the rain. When the clouds opened up we tooks walks on the beach. We will definitely be back.

The house was perfect for the time we were there. And that it is all the needs that we had. There was plenty of everything except for they do not provide a blow-dryer which was very challenging. The location was Prime for walking to the beach, walking the grounds and just relaxing. The location was nice and quiet I would definitely recommend this and we'll go back.

Nice property

Kitchen was well-supplied. Lighting was lacking in living room and bedroom if you wanted to read. Close to beach, and had extra chairs and table for the patio. We would return. It was fun to walk through all of the Pajaro Dunes properties.

Relaxing girls getaway

Very clean and comfortable condo. Older furnishings but in good shape and well maintained. Only negative was check in time of 4pm. Wish it could have been earlier. Even 3pm would have been good. Would willingly take earlier check out time for an earlier check in time.

Perfect distance learning get away

We took advantage of the kids distance learning, and spent a week in October. We had the most perfect weather. No wifi issues at all even with both kids on zoom at the same time. They enjoyed the extensive collection of board games. The unit was very well equipped with everything we needed. Beautiful view and lots of beach time after "school." Highlights were seeing a dolphin pod surfing the waves, collecting many sand dollars, and football on the beach during low tide. Great to spend some time away, just what we needed.

Mom’s birthday party

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had a lot of kitchen supplies, plates, cups, cooking utensils and other items, which was very nice. Having the beach right out your back door was awesome. The only things I would say is it is a bit old. It just needs a few things here and there touched up. Also remember to bring dish soap. They have soap for the dishwasher but didn’t have anything for washing bigger items. Over all enjoyed it very much.

Wonderful location

The condo was cute and the access and location was fantastic to go to the beach! The furniture and curtains smelled like an I un bathed person, not just musty. Needed a better cleaning. Found unclean counters and tables, which the cleaning fees you expect better! But all in all I loved the location, so after lysoling everything it was good. There was plenty of towels sheets and kitchen supplies😃 the keys stuck and didn’t work. The gateman came and helped! Very polite and kind.

Need’s updating

Check in was a bit of a disaster. I didn’t receive any communication from the resort about our accommodations. Once we finally got into the room we were very underwhelmed. The condo was close to beach but it is very run down. Very old furniture, lots of stuff in a small space. Carpets are damaged everywhere and the washer only worked part of the time. Condo unfortunately has a musty old smell.

Dirty Condo at Pajaro Dunes

Run-down and filthy kitchen, bathrooms, and grossly-soiled and stained carpeting, especially in kitchen, entry and living room. Drain in one shower was plugged. Kitchen appliances in poor condition, ceiling exhaust fan above cooktop covered in dirt and inoperable, and overall condo is in poor condition. No chairs were available for use at the beach. The Pajaro Dunes is located on a picturesque stretch of beach teaming with wildlife. The nature and Pacific coast were lovely.

Unit 276 Two bedroom, partial ocean view

We usually get a one bedroom with a full ocean view, but wanted to have an extra room this time so we can invite family to stay the night if they wanted to. The partial view was nice, and access to the beach is great, especially since my mom is in a wheelchair. It would be nice if they could upgrade the kitchen which is a bit awkward, but the bathrooms are very nice and beds comfortable. Next time, I’ll have to remember to bring a fire log and laundry softener, since they do not seem to be provided in this unit like the other unit we usually stay in. They really mean it when they say to bring your own condiments too (I guess I was a bit spoiled by the other unit on this one too). Overall, a beautiful place to vacation and we will definitely be going back again.
