Questa affascinante baita di LUSSO si trova su 18 acri di proprietà con una buca per falò, un grande stagno, una fontana illuminata, tavoli da picnic, una cava a ferro di cavallo, un'amaca, un corso d'acqua e sentieri escursionistici. È una vacanza perfetta per chi ama la natura, mentre a soli 10 minuti dal caratteristico centro di Black Mountain e dal negozio di alimentari di Ingles. La cabina dispone di 3 camere da letto, 3 bagni, sala giochi con air hockey e biliardino, camino, 2 televisori a schermo piatto con lettore DVD, cucina completamente attrezzata e un ponte avvolgente con vasca idromassaggio e grill a gas. Molte attività all'aperto nelle vicinanze per tutte le età e area erbosa per far giocare i bambini. Posizione perfetta per le famiglie che viaggiano insieme (vedi anche Highrock Retreat, Highrock Haven, Highrock Meadow e Mitchell View)

Nice Quiet cabin!

The cabin was perfect for what we needed. The location is a little tricky to get to but once there is was nice and quiet and offered a lot of amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. We also used what looked like a brand new grill to cook on site. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Family trip

We had a wonderful time at the house. The game room was so fun and it was nice to have room for everyone to spread out and relax. The walking trails were great for the dog and there was a ton of fauna to enjoy. Right by the house was jewelweed, sassafras, plantain, wild blueberries, blackberry bushes, and rhododendron! We loved it and hope to return soon.

Mountain Oasis

This mountain cabin was perfect for our family. We had plenty of space, games and movies inside and fun trails on the property that allowed us to explore with our kids. Coffee on the porch overlooking the pond was a nice quiet morning bonus. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. Our family rates this cabin a 10 out of 10. We hope to be back in the near future.

Easter weekend

The cabin was beautiful. The grounds were spacious and gorgeous. The gravel RR tie steps up to the house were difficult to climb (I have bad knees and hips). It would be better with a king size bed with a softer mattress on the main level. The High Acres road from Hwy 9 needs to be paved. Too many pot holes! Didn't feel comfortable traveling the roads from Hwy 9 to the property at night due to road conditions. Thanks! Tami

Relaxing Getaway!

This is one of our favorite places to relax. The home was spotless and welcoming upon arrival. We had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We love exploring the trails as well as the peace and quiet of the property. A trip to downtown Black Mountain for lunch and the local breweries is not to be missed. I highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the Black Mountain/Asheville area.

Fabulous!

We had a wonderful stay at the house. Quiet and surrounded by woods - just what we needed! Only issue is that we have an old dog with hip issues, so tackling the long staircase to the house was a challenge for her, but she managed in the end. And she loved the little trail and creek on property!

Great base for hiking, boating, and golf

Great home base for our visit! We hiked the property and many trails in the area. Golf and great times on Lake Lure rounded out the vacation. This was our second stay at this property and we’ll certainly consider it again if we return to the area.

Great property

This was our second stay at this cabin and we again were pleased. Always clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the trail, views, fire pit, and tire swing. The property manager is amazing and very responsive. It’s a “fun” mountain drive up, but worth it.

Perfect Getaway

My family and I stayed here to have some r and r over the summer. It was absolutely perfect and we were so delighted with the cabin which is very secluded. If you love nature, and having your own hiking trails and access to mountain creeks (cold and clean water!), this is the place. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

This listing is just as advertised, a beautiful mountain cabin. The property has some nice short trails. Each floor has its own bedroom and bathroom, giving each person plenty of space. If we make it back to Black Mountain we would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful and Relaxing Escape

We enjoyed a weekend away from the city with friends in the beautiful cabin by the pond. The cabin was well appointed and spacious, and the grounds were peaceful and relaxing. We hiked several trails on the property and used the hot tub, which was a nice bonus. The host provided very detailed instructions before arrival, and though the gravel road was a bit tricky to navigate (this was noted in the listing), it was well worth the drive. Overall, we highly recommend this property!

A cozy spot in the mountains

We had a great time at the high rock preserve. The kids and dogs enjoyed playing in the creek and the trails on the property were very convenient. The house had everything we needed, including games for the kids. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Black Mountain

The owners of this property were easily accessible and a joy to book with. The property itself was excellent for kids including the pond and trails! It can be difficult to enter the cabin as it is in a steep hill of gravel, but this was not an issue for our family. The kitchen had everything we could have needed. My only recommendation - bring your own pillows as they were not comfortable. This is a very minor detail of this amazing vacation for two families with small children!!!!!

Beautiful

We loved our vacation at the Preserves. The house was clean and just as listed. We hiked the property, which is beautiful, and enjoyed the views. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after some of our longer hikes offsite. The road leading to the property was a bit steeper and curvier than we had anticipated even though we have vacationed in the mountains before (our minivan had a difficult time on them) but we did make it. A truck or SUV with 4WD would be much better. Other than that, it was an amazing location and house and we will definitely visit again!

Beautiful cabin & property

Our family had a wonderful fall vacation at this cabin. It is clean, serene, has beautiful views of the pond, and we loved the property trails. It is close to Black Mountain but we loved spending most of our time at the cabin! *note- the last 10mins to get here are on a gravel road. We hope to be back and highly recommend if you’re looking for a mountain getaway.

We chose this location in Black Mountain because it's a very quaint town with great restaurants and so close to the city of Asheville with airport, universities and culture events.

What we love best about our property is that we are located in the mountains surrounded by nature but have the luxuries of home and only 10 minutes to the grocery store and other amenities.
