Absolutely wonderfully decorated fishing cabin on beautiful knotty River. Great outdoor life style for the family to enjoy. Tubing and kayaking were the best part
We had such a wonderful time staying at this beautiful cabin on the river. The whole place was so comfy and clean. We absolutely loved hanging out on the back porch with the tv and fireplace all while still staring at the river peacefully going by us. Taking the kayaks out mornings and afternoons was such a treat. Especially in the morning when the fog is rolling down the river. That was magical and it was so quiet and serene. Hubby even picked up a fishing rod from Walmart and tried to catch some trout. One of the best places we’ve stayed at in a while. Will def be back to enjoy. This place is a must stay if you’re looking for a peaceful place to unwind and getaway.
The cabin was absolutely amazing! There was plenty of space to park right in front, and the little glow-in-the-dark stones were such a nice touch. The kitchen looked fabulous and was very well stocked with silverware, pots, a K-cup coffee maker, and more. The master bathroom was really cool, and the bedrooms were huge—even with king-size beds. We loved the gas fireplace with the TV on the porch; that’s where we spent most of our days, watching the creek and enjoying the wildlife. We saw deer, hummingbirds, Canada geese, and several other birds. We even caught some fish! The kayak was great—we went upstream for about an hour and then enjoyed letting the current carry us back without pedaling. This place is so quiet, very clean, and absolutely beautiful. The morning fog mixed with the sound of birds was exactly what we needed to escape the loud city. There’s honestly nothing negative I can think of. Definitely worth it, and we will be back for sure!

10/10. 5 Stars. Perfect. We were guests here for a Thursday-Sunday extended weekend and loved everything about this home. We were welcomed with a bottle of local honey and that just set the tone right off the bat. We noticed the random blue pebbles in the gravel driveway and paths and just thought it was cute, but they glow in the dark and look AWESOME in the evenings. Just one of the smaller details that really show the owners cared to create a unique home for their visitors. Decor is a prefect blend of rustic and modern and the owners provided everything we could need for stress-free visit. Rooms and beds were comfortable, AC was efficient, and the oversized ceiling fans kept the air moving. Plenty of outlets for charging everything and the master bathroom shower is going to make us despise ours at home once we get back. The home was remote enough to make forgetting the work grind at home easy, but also close enough to Wal-Mart that a grocery run was also convenient. 2 kayaks were on site, and used often. The fire pit was prefilled with wood and extra was stocked close by. Propane grill was out front, with an extra tank. Board games were also provided and we got into those once as well. The river out back had plenty of shallow rocks for just relaxing on and deeper areas for swimming. If we weren’t in the water, we were on the back porch, which had its own TV, ceiling fan, gas fireplace, and plenty of seating. Owners checked in once or twice just to make sure everything was going smoothly and were quick to respond when we couldn’t find the switch for the outdoor ceiling fan, which was hidden in plain sight. 😂 As an added bonus, we were visited daily by a group of about 40 geese, which the teenagers and youngest child LOVED. We found this home just for its location close to some water and in an area we haven’t visited before…but I see us making a return visit at some point strictly to revisit this home. Great hosts, great home, great weekend! Thank y’all!
