The Lazy Squirrel Lodge was an amazing mountain cabin! It was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of 6, while still having that charming and authentic rustic mountain vibe. The place was very clean, well stocked and had everything we needed for our family to have a great stay. We also loved the large hot tub for late day/evening soaks after our long days of mountain exploring.

Wonderful weekend

We stayed at the Lazy Squirrel with our grandchildren for four nights at the end of May. The property was extremely clean and well-stocked with everything from coffee and spices to tub toys for little ones. The location is far enough away to feel like a vacation but close enough to access various attractions within a short drive. We’d definitely stay here again.

Cozy Mountain Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in GMF. Comfortable and cozy with everything we could have asked for and more. Relaxing location after a day of hiking. Kitchen well stocked and easy for cooking. Loved the big picture window and outdoor spaces for sipping coffee and watching the deer. Loved the outdoor spaces, board games, and hot tub. Would definitely return to this house again!

Very simple to find and an easy drive for someone not used to driving in the mountains. Cabin was perfect for our 4 person family. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen but also dined at two of the restaurants in town. Loved morning walks in the quiet neighborhood. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend as it's close to Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs activities.

Wonderful property

We stay in a lot of VRBO properties and this one ranks up there as one of the best! Fabulous location plus we just LOVED the "Adventure Board" with suggestions on things to do in the area. Close to great restaurants and shopping, but far enough away to enjoy the beauty of nature.
