LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Our vacation home is right in the HEART of Colorado Springs by Downtown and Old Colorado City. It is the perfect peaceful escape, and just a few minutes from the best attractions, amenities and restaurants Colorado Springs has to offer! The location doesn't get better than this! Experience ALL Colorado Springs has to offer within minutes, to include the Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Cliff Dwellings, the Incline, and so much more!
Traveling with a couple and 3 singles, it was such a blessing to have separate bedrooms and bathrooms. It was nice to have a room on the main floor for the senior using a walker. Quiet neighborhood and good parking.
The property is lovely and very clean. We were quite comfortable. We also found a very good, fun restaurant within 2 minutes of walking: Suma. Excellent service and food.
Nice renovation and was clean. Large kitchen but not fully equipped for those who like to cook. Couldnât find any extra blankets so our 2 Colorado nights were cold. Needs new towels and sheets. Sorry to hear after the fact that the 2 sided fireplace was out of order. Entertainment was easy to access.
This was a great place to stay while visiting family in the area. There was plenty of space to accommodate 2 families. The house was very clean, had good space for hanging out, and had a great kitchen. It was also close to great restaurants and the downtown area, including a great jogging trail.
Great location, awesome property - tons of room and beds for family and kiddos. Wish the weather would have been better to take advantage of the outdoor fire pit...next time!
Home worked well for our one night stay prior to heading to Philmont the following day! It was close to food and Garden of the Gods! Location was quiet and space was ample!
Nice, quiet neighborhood and close to everything. The house is very comfortable and with everything we need for our stay. The host is very attentive and always responded immediately to my questions. I would definitely stay there again.
The house is in a great location! However, the owner has not maintained it well. There were simple things unaddressed such as 2 of 3 toilet seats broken, blinds broken in the room that sits on the street, grass too talk for kids to play in. and more complicated/expensive things like ice machine broken, ripped patio furniture, bedroom that must have had cat pee from a prior renter, and the dirtiest carpet I've ever seen in a rental. While the owner said thanks for noting the concerns there was no price adjustment or accommodations made to improve our stay.
Beautiful decor and layout! This is a quiet neighborhood with great location to all the parks Colorado Springs has to offer. We had a family of 8 and there was plenty of space to accommodate everyone.
Nice house but steep stairs for older people as well as difficult shower to use for older people. Nicely decorated and beds were comfortable. Beware if no air conditioning when it is hot outside. Great yard and kitchen.
Myself and a group of friends stayed the weekend so we could train at iFly the indoor skydiving tunnel. The house was great for six adults, very spacious and comfortable bedrooms. We enjoyed hanging in the lounge in the evenings and the backyard in the mornings.
The kitchen is very spacious had what we needed. The location is great, easy walking distance to local restaurants and close to other attractions in Colorado Springs. Would definitely stay here again if we come back!
This property could use some TLC. It needs a deep clean, especially on exterior and fenced yard/patio, and that carpet upstairs has got to go. Kitchen utensils are second hand at best and not conducive to prepping and cooking. Bed linens were old, and not what is pictured. Towels are embarrassing and need retired immediately, not to mention scarce. Location and space were good. Didn't expect to have to share property with others, could hear conversations of basement renters clearly and they weren't being loud. Our dog was uneasy there which is not typical for her when staying away from home and at a rental property. Perhaps we were just spoiled having come from an excellent stay at different property, but anyone can see and feel this place is neglected.
We had a last minute trip to Colorado, I would like to say Colorado Springs is my absolute favorite area in Eastern CO. I would say this property is all location, location, location. Perfectly located near downtown, Garden of the Gods & mountain activities, We walked to coffee both mornings and to dinner one night. I would absolutely stay here again just for the location. The property could use some updates, but if you are looking for a place to sleep after you spend your days outdoors then this is the place.
It's not a terrible place, but for the money we expected better. There is no AC, downstairs rental has very little noise insulation. It is reasonably clean and maintained so I would have been satisfied with a reasonable price.
Group of 10 friends stayed overnight to avoid a long drive the morning of the Tough Mudder. We had a slight hiccup when checking in as renters of one of the other units had been confused which unit was theirs. Upon learning the other renters had been in our unit, the property mgmt team quickly dispatched the cleaning crew to re-clean the property to ensure it was spotless for our stay. The close proximity to restaurants, shopping and of course the Tough Mudder venue makes this an ideal location. Will definitely be reserving for next yearâs race.
