The LOFT has been home to vacationers since 1997, offering free PARKING in the rear of the building and is well located in the heart of the city, making it a great choice for those desiring close proximity to shopping, dining and the vibrant nightlife of eclectic Asheville. Park your car in the reserved space behind the LOFT and walk to everything. After a full day in the 'Land of Sky', retire to a private second story retreat to relax and rejuvenate before heading out again. The LOFT features all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable and offers low reasonable rates. Wireless internet, Direct-TV and free Netflix on demand are all available, as well as a full kitchen, dining area and washer/dryer. There is a workstation area with numerous USB outlets plus a small desk that may be used as a workstation, and multiple USB ports to conveniently charge your devices. Downtown Gem

We loved everything about our stay at the Downtown Loft. Sarah was very responsive to each inquiry and the owner became our dear friend! It is a very large loft that was cool and comfortable at any time of day. Everything was first class and the location speaks for itself. We would definitely stay there again!!!

Exceeded All Expectations!

We had a truly fantastic time at this rental! We were there July 3-6 for a "girls getaway weekend" and couldn't have picked a better spot. The location within the city was perfect- we walked everywhere really easily and barely needed our cars. Having two dedicated (and included, price-wise) parking spots was awesome, even if it was a little awkward trying to drop our luggage out front before driving around to the back of the block for our spots. Recommendation there: Pull into the little covered parking area that's about 500 feet down the sidewalk to unload- don't leave the car unattended since the parking lot is restricted, but it was easier to quickly load/unload there instead of right on the street. The space itself was truly beautiful- the pictures didn't do it justice. We had everything we needed in terms of linens, towels, and kitchen amenities, although we didn't make anything besides coffee- too many great food options nearby! The rental manager, Sarah, was super responsive to a couple questions we had ahead of time, and even quickly refunded our pet deposit fee when one of the girls decided not to bring her dog at the last minute. The rental didn't offer the MOST privacy I've ever seen but again, since we were on a girls trip, it felt like a big slumber party and we enjoyed every minute. As far as stuff to do, we visited French Broad Chocolate Lounge every day (five days total, as we "glamped" in Weaverville the Friday and Saturday after we checked out of this loft). We also did a river tubing excursion through French Broad Outfitters and a GREAT food tour through Eating Asheville (six stops in total). Dinner at Zambra's was great with a group since we ordered tons of "bites" and shared. Also stumbled across the Battery Park Book Exchange (they serve CHAMPAGNE!) and spent some time there with our Eating Asheville tour guide after the tour ended. All in all, can't say enough good things about this Homeaway property- it was EXACTLY what we needed. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Cool location but needs some TLC

This property is in a great location, very spacious and has a lot of potential. We walked almost everywhere and found the convenience to be its biggest asset.

But there were several things about it that needed improvement.

First, the overall space is very large with a king bed, queen bad and futon none of which are separated by walls. If you are expecting to stay there with multiple people be aware of limited privacy.

Second, the space has limited amenities. Kitchen utensils, soap, etc. were minimal.

Third, the space needs modernization.

Keep in mind that you are in a very busy downtown, so it is loud at night. We expected it and were fine, but that may disappoint others.

Overall, we had a great time in Asheville and this location is incredible. The restaurants and shops are within walking distance and we had a great time.
