About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + (3rd bedroom is Loft), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-6)

Blueberry Hill Log Cabin' is a wonderful, peaceful and quiet cabin away from traffic and noise.

Blueberry Hill is a traditional log cabin. We have furnished it with everything you will need for your visit to Asheville.

Sit on the front porch and relax, or enjoy the therapeutic Hot-Tub and wood burning fireplace. It is large enough for a small family or a small group.

The cabin is tucked away on 22-acres, surrounded by Spivey/Miller mountain with lush greenery and wildlife.

You will feel far away from everything during your visit to Asheville, but actually the heart of town is just 10 miles down the road and an easy 15 minute car drive.

Sharing our 22 acre piece of heaven we also have a few family pets that are within a very short walking distance for adults and children alike to enjoy. Just down the hill at the Big Red Barn we currently have 3 goats, 2 full size horses...8-10 wild turkeys that roam regularly.

About The Owner

Jim and I have been married now for almost 25 years. We honeymooned in a cabin very much like Blueberry Hill in a small town in Ga. We also enjoyed a hot tub and that is the biggest reason we have chose to have one on our property. Jim is a microbiologist and I am a nurse and we have 4 children growing up very rapidly and enjoy life outdoors and camping.

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2003

Why The Owner chose Smoky Mountains

Our Log cabin offers peace and quiet away from city life but so close to everything it makes getting around very easy. You will feel like time has stopped while at the cabin.

What makes this cabin unique

Blueberry Hill log cabin sits on 1-acre country setting. It's peaceful and quite and very private. Luckily if you forget anything at the store it's also very convenient.

Great place!

Blueberry Hill cabin is lovely! My husband, our two daughters, and I spent the weekend here. Thanks to two bedrooms + the loft, we all had our own space, which we enjoyed. The cabin was very clean, and everything we needed was there. The location is fantastic...quiet and peaceful but still very close to activities. Kelly and Jim showed such gracious hospitality! We loved walking down to their barn in the mornings and feeding the animals; fresh eggs were a nice bonus! Beautiful setting and cabin. Of course, they had me at "hot tub!"

Blueberry Bliss

  • 5 of 5

My three lady friends and I traveled 10 1/2 hrs from the Detroit area to reach the thriving Hamlet of Asheville NC for our 10th Aniversary Trip. We were tired and travel wiery but were so pleased with our delightful Cabin in the hills. We will cherish many wonderful memories of wandering the property, by a small Farmstead, hiking the nearby State And National Parks, including two of us sliding across the flat rocks of a racing river to plunge into freezing mountain water. We enjoyed wandering the streets of Asheville, eating at some fine establishments, all of which were within minutes of our Beautiful homey comfortable Cabin. It was a great retreat to recouperate in between adventures. We enjoyed hearing the sounds of the animals as we sat on the front porch for our morning coffee or in the evening planing the next days adventures with a glass of wine before dinner that one or the other of us prepared in the nicely equipped kitchen. If you are going to Asheville this little Haven will certainly enhance your experience.

Bachelorette Asheville Weekend

  • 4 of 5

This is the perfect cabin for a girls weekend away. The hot tub was a real bonus to our stay. There was enough space that everyone didn't feel that they were on top of one another. The kitchen was perfect size. The road up is a bit rough but nothing unmanageable. Just make sure you have a car that can make it up. The cabin is a good distance from downtown Asheville but you are able to get there 15-20 minutes. Uber does drive out there but call and verify rides ahead of time. We were only give 2-3 rolls of toilet paper for the entire weekend, so we ran out around Saturday evening.

Kelly was extremely attentive she checked in on us through out the weekend. We lost power early Saturday morning and she answered within minutes.

Stayed here for a girls weekend with my mom and sister and it could not have been more perfect. The host was attentive and responsive, and the place was just the most quaint. I'd stay here again!
