Our stay at Hacienda de Mita was great! The house was in a great location and our concierge was so helpful in getting things set up for us both ahead of our stay and during our visit. Having access to the beach/pool clubs was key and made our stay so special, would highly recommend! The unit was spacious and had a great living room for our group - I will say that it is not a true 4 bedroom, so the last bedroom we couldn't use & the golf cart had quite a few issues so would recommend renting from one of the newer companies if you want a fast golf cart.

It was fabulous

The best location, on the ground floor which opens directly to the pool. We had a fantastic stay, and loved the close proximity to town and the restaurants there. My son and his friends loved all the beach clubs. The Housecleaner was such a lovely and helpful lady. Our concierge was available at all times for assistance.

Spring break 2025

We had a wonderful time with our family! The unit is large and clean, the pictures don't do it justice. The location was perfect, close to town with plenty of restaurants right on the beach. Mariana was excellent, easy to get in touch with and very helpful. We will definitely be back!

Great time in Punta Mita

We had a great time at Jose’s Punta Mita condo. Mariana was a great concierge and Cervando did an amazing job keeping the condo clean and cooking us breakfast a few times. Highly recommend!

The apartment is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped. The host and the cleaning staff were very helpful and nice. The apartment does not have a view to the beach or the sea and the Club the Playa of Hacienda de Mita does not have chairs to seat on, when we went there they said we had to bring our own, which we did not know so we could not use it. We had to go to other Beach Clubs, which were full because of New Years high season. It would be nice if Hacienda de Mita had service for the apartments and placed chairs when you arrive at the beach. The pool is very nice and heated which we really appreciated since it was December. The community inside Punta Mita is super private and quiet and very well guarded. We walked and biked inside the complex and loved it. The golf cart that was supposed to be included in the rental is in very bad condition, the breaks don't work well and the wheel is very difficult to drive with. They sent someone to fix it but it did not improve. I would suggest the owner changing or really fixing the cart.

The condo was perfect, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. The location was great-central to everything. Our concierge Mariana was always responsive and helpful. Cervando the housekeeper was great too!

Perfect Family Getaway

Hacienda de Mita was the perfect place for my family! There was plenty of room for all of our children, grandparents, and my wife and I. Mariana was exceptional providing information prior to our arrival, helping us coordinate transportation, and arranging activities. Lucy was incredible and made us delicious breakfasts and lunches everyday before and after going to the various beach clubs. We can’t wait to return to this magical oasis.

Convenient, easy location

We enjoyed staying in this ground-level condo with easy access to the pool and beach club. It provided ample beds for all of us - though the 4th "bedroom" is really more of a cleaning supply and laundry area, there was a third bed in one of the bedrooms (so 6 beds total in three bedrooms, plus one in the smaller laundry/supply room). Having the golf cart just one floor down was also very convenient.

Awesome time in Punta Mita

Our family had an awesome time in Punta Mita. The unit was extremely clean and matched the pictures/descriptions on-line. Mariana and Cervando were a pleasure to work with, and made things extremely easy. We are already looking forward to going back in the future and absolutely would stay in this unit/area (Hacienda de Mita) again.

Property is very high end. One of the reviews that says it's in need of rugs or pictures is silly. based on all the books it appears the owner may be an architect. I thought it very tasteful. Cevando is great. We had 2 families with 8 people all together. Breakfast every morning could not be beat. Mostly lunched at the various clubs during the day and we walked thru the convenient gate to the nearby restaurants on the ocean in Punta Mita. All within walking distance. Mariana very helpful in stocking Kitchen with food prior to our arrival, arranging airport transportation and helping with excursions. The resort is amazing. Can't be beat.

The location is great. The unit is spacious and stocked well. The unit is showing its age a bit and could use a few updates (leaking faucet, running toilets, sink that leaks). The golf cart did not run well and ran out of power one evening. Luckily we had rented a second golf cart that came to our rescue. Mariana, the concierge was quick to get the golf cart back to our unit the next morning but it took all day to recharge it. Again, we were grateful we had rented a second cart. The resort grounds are amazing and the beaches/beach clubs so much. The drinks and restaurants were very pricey and the food was not as enjoyable on this trip as in the past.

Very nice property but a bit rocky on service

The property and location are amazing. The concierge did not have our groceries on site until day 2 (without coffee the first morning). The water was shut off our first night without notice from 8pm to 7am. The owner apologized and offered $30 for our inconvenience. The water was shut off once again this time we did have notice. Another strange occurrence was the housekeeper used the toilet in the laundry room and did not flush. It took us some time to figure out what and where the smell was.

Hello Nicole, We offer a sincere apology for the inconvenience about the delay of the groceries, specially the coffee that is necessary first thing in the morning. Regarding the water issue, the whole development was reconnecting water pipes and all of the units had water shuts. The development did not informed us ahead of time. About the $30. We offered a courtesy dish as a gift, not as a monetary exchange. After realizing that it was about money I would have gladly subsidized 1 night of lodging for the inconvenience. Wonderful location in a spectacular resort

Punta Mita is a spectacular gated community at the tip of a peninsula reaching into Banderas Bay. It includes hundreds of condos and homes for rent. It is essential to rent one that includes access to the five beach clubs and a golf cart to navigate the large peninsula. There are almost no restaurants within the resort except for the beach clubs and two very expensive hotels. But just east of the gated resort is a small pueblo with several very nice restaurants on the beach. Hacienda de Mita is adjacent to the locking gate leading to the pueblo. Thus its location is perfect! The landscaping and swimming pools are beautiful settings for the gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. Our condo in the Hacienda was in building 8. it was modern, well-kept, spacious, and equipped with the latest appliances. The concierge (Mariana) and housekeeper/chef (Cervando) provided the best possible service and a joy to speak with.

A Cheaper Rental in HDM

I've stayed in 5 or 6 HDM units. While they are all similar, this one felt the lowest end and least decorated of all the ones i've stayed in. And it was the cheapest cost. So you get what you pay for. Everything was great with the stay. Concierge Mariana was on top of things,. Check in easy and house was clean and well stocked. We didn't do the breakfast option, as that is not just our style, but the cleaning guy kept everything tidy and did some laundry for us. The golf cart looks a little dated and had bald tires in front when we got it. 2 days in the front tire blew out. Concierge was quick to get us a loaner 4 seater for 2 days, while they repaired the tires. So that was fine. Just a few suggestions for the Owner on the unit. Add some Rugs, hardly any rugs, and its a lot of hard scape. only one rug around in our master bath. None in the Kitchen or living room. The place feels empty and bare. Add some decoration- place looks empty, not a single picture or photo in our bathroom or master bedroom. Some better pillows would be great. Has the feel of a rental. It doesn't have to be that way. We enjoyed our stay and the Apt has all the cups, bowls, coffee, knives, ect that you need.

Wonderful stay!

We had such a relaxing week at Hacienda de Mita #802! It was our first time in Punta de Mita, so we enjoyed exploring the beach clubs (Sufi and Surf were our favorites), playing tennis and pickleball, and trying different restaurants on the property and in the little town in our personal golf cart. Cervando is the best and makes amazing huevos rancheros. We definitely recommend having him cook some of your meals. Mariana was so helpful buying our groceries and organizing rides from/to the airport and a day trip to Sayulita. The owners were also very accommodating when we had to extend by a night due to flight cancellation. Very fun family time with our two teenagers. We will be back!
