About this property

Welcome to the picturesque and historic town of Julian... and my lovely space! I have a 3 bedroom two story house with plenty of parking. My neighborhood is a beautiful, serene place to rest, work or enjoy the outdoors! You are 5 minutes from Julian's downtown where you will find restaurants, shops, a brewery, library and of course Julian's famous pies! Less than 15 minutes away is Cuyamaca Lake where you can engage in water activities and hiking. Hope you are cozy and happy here! :)

Some house special perks are the balcony that wraps around most of the house with a gorgeous green mountain view and the bay window in the master bedroom where you can cozy up with a book or journal and enjoy the sunny greenery or the dark starry sky.

You can access the whole house, front yard and backyard! :)
Other things to note

Please be mindful of two things: we have wonderful water quality here, but it comes with a hefty price tag. Also, if you are not using it, please turn off water, lights and heaters or a/c.

Nice place. Like location close to downtown Julian but away from everyone. Bummed though we brought stuff to bbq but NO PROPANE AND BUTTON ON BBQ BROKEN(so had to cook inside) this very important to us. Communication slow from owner. We left an item behind she responded was going to check with cleaning lady, said she would get back to us that cleaning lady would go to property NO CALL BACK. Don't know what happened to the following up. Nothing major though.

Quiet and comfy stay

Sofia was super responsive in a timely way. Check-in was easy and the house was spacious and comfortable. The only unfortunate part of our stay was that the previous renters brought the beach back with them because there was sand everywhere. We had to vacuum the couch, the dining room chairs, and if we walked around barefoot we'd end up with sand on our feet. Everything else was clean. The bed in the master was the most comfy bed we have ever slept in aside from our own. The sheets on that bed were super soft so we slept great! The kitchen was nice and the house well equipped. Check-out was super easy too. We enjoyed how private and quiet the house/neighborhood was. And only a 5 minute drive to all the shops/restaurants in Julian. We'd come again.

Shower and one of the bedrooms

First 24 hours we didn't have hot water and since I didn't have host cell, I could not reach her quick enough. The next morning she said that the hot water was accidently turned off and she was apologetic and nice about it and she turned it on the next day. Also one of the bedrooms doesn't have door. The rest was very good.

Mountain Setting

The location was perfect for what we needed. There was plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed the mountain setting and the amazing night sky. The only thing I might recommend is that you let the guest know what the expectations are when they are getting ready to leave. We just did what we had done in the last house we stayed at and hoped that it was what was wanted. Enjoyed our time.
