Condo, Studio, Kitchenette, Cal-King Bed, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)
This is a lovely, sweet, affordable and clean little unit. It is one of the very few 'free-standing/stand-alone' units within the Paniolo Complex. It is one of the much quieter units within Paniolo as it sits on the side that fronts the Prince Golf Course- not the street. The unit has a lanai overlooking the golf course, a CalKing bed, a full bathroom as well as a kitchenette with an apartment sized refrigerator.

We live in Malibu, California full time but try to get to Kauai as much as possible!
Valerie purchased this Condo in 2003
Why Valerie chose Princeville
This is one of the most relaxing and beautiful places for a vacation on the planet.
What makes this Condo unique
We are situated on the quiet greenbelt of a the Prince golf course and we are in walking distance of markets and some of the most amazing beaches in the world! We are also licensed by the county of Kauai so you won't have to feel you are taking a risk with your deposit.

Had a great time. Unit was very good. Our only suggestion is those roll-up mats for the beach.
Great. Nice location, very good for the price. We would go again!
Great place for Vacation
Nice, quaint, peaceful, safe
Probably okay for the rate but dark inside and a bit dated.
Picture is misleading as there are two units in the building. You get only half of the cottage.
Upside: Bathroom very clean and in good shape, quiet, parking right in front of the unit.
Not so up side: Interior a little cramped and dated everything (bed, kitchenette). No toaster, hotplates, microwave and toaster oven cramped into one corner, not very comfortable to use.
The deck was not clean on arrival, but this is hopeless anyway as there is a constant falling of debris from the trees.
Location is a plus:
Nice walk down to Ainini beach (a little steep and slippery), to the Westin (restaurant and Starbucks coffee in the "Princeville Market"), also about 7 min on paved footpath to the Princeville Center (many restaurants). At night a flashlight is recommended (not provided in the unit).
Thank you for your feedback. If you go back and carefully read the information sheet you were given before booking, it addresses the fact that cottage has A & B sides...as in a duplex. We even give the A side's contact info in case you blow a fuse or need something. They are wonderful hosts and are very helpful, and we and our guests feel fortunate to have them there. We do have a toaster oven and feel a toaster would be a bit redundant. As far as flashlights, we have tried to keep them there but they walk off, as you can imagine. You are correct on the lanai- not easy to keep cleaned off. Part of living on the wet and lush North Shore- it's a constant battle.
Budget Friendly and Comfortable!
King bed was comfy, condo was roomy and clean. Nice breeze comes in thru sliding doors. I would stay here again for sure. I didn't cook here, but kitchen area looked fine. Nice to have a fridge. Pretty quiet even with the wild roosters!
Clean, good location , short walk to restaurants and to the beach.
Perfect for two!
Val's place perfectly met our needs. It was a clean, comfortable place to land each night after a day exploring the island's beaches, hiking spots and waterfalls. We're not "resort people" so we liked the friendly and casual community of neighbors surrounding us in this complex. The kitchen was well-equipped for simple meals and the bathroom was recently remodeled. The geckos were a bit of a pain as they'd occasionally find their way into the unit and leave us a "present" here or there, but that's to be expected on the islands. We definitely hope to stay here again someday!
