About the property

Condo, Studio, Kitchenette, Cal-King Bed, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

This is a lovely, sweet, affordable and clean little unit. It is one of the very few 'free-standing/stand-alone' units within the Paniolo Complex. It is one of the much quieter units within Paniolo as it sits on the side that fronts the Prince Golf Course- not the street. The unit has a lanai overlooking the golf course, a CalKing bed, a full bathroom as well as a kitchenette with an apartment sized refrigerator.

Had an amazing relaxed stay in Paniolo, loved the location and had all the amenities we needed.

  • 5 of 5

We loved this place! Came for a part of our honeymoon and had a blast in the area. The little condo was clean and had everything we could have needed. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Close to a lot of great beaches and very comfortable.

  • 4 of 5

Very comfortable and easy access to good beaches and the local restaurants and shops. Despite not having A/C in August the Trade winds (and the fans) made the condo very comfortable. The "Kitchen" is really just a sink and microwave, but it works, and the outdoor grills at the pool were available for more adventurous cooking. Hike to the beach was a bit far with gear, but you can drive to Ananie beach easily, as well as half a dozen other great spots. Would recommend for north shore stays!

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay! Just wanted to clarify for future guests that it's touted as a "Kitchenette" : Kitchenette - Wikipedia Wikipedia › wiki › Kitchenette A kitchenette is a small cooking area, which usually has a fridge and a microwave, but may have other appliances.

Everything and More

  • 5 of 5

This was the 2nd year in a row that we stayed in Val's place. Both times we stayed an entire month and cooked 90% of our meals in the unit and we plan on being back next year. The toaster oven and 2 burner cooker was enough for us to make simple meals. Val was very responsive to any emails we sent her. There was plenty of space to accommodate all our needs. The unit was furnished with a boogie board, chairs and a cooler. The trade winds made it very comfortable for sleeping and dining in the unit.

Perfect Fit for our Trip

  • 5 of 5

We were happy our rental was easy to access (parking right in front) making hauling our luggage and stuff a breeze, it was comfortable (bed was just right firm/soft), quiet and affordable. I had forgotten to print out the parking pass and was thankful it didn't pose a problem. Every night we'd get home late and our parking was open. It was perfect!

Charming cottage in a convenient location!

  • 5 of 5

My fiancee and I spent a lovely week here in June and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy but spacious place to stay on the north side of Kaua'i. It's quite close to the local grocery store and has a full-sized fridge, so we stocked up early on snacks and sandwich fixings and spent our week beach hopping along the northern coast. It's also extremely close to the main highway, so if you're trying to travel around to other parts of the island, it's basically a straight shot - even on the slightly heavier airport traffic days, we were able to get to Waimeia in under 90 minutes.

Everything was very clean and well-appointed, and the owner and her team were quick to respond to us when we realized we had lost the email giving us instructions on how to get into the cottage. We didn't use the small kitchenette features much, but everything that we used did work and I'm sure it would be quite suitable for anyone looking to prep simple meals. There were beach towels, two folding chairs, a cooler, and even an umbrella in the storage closet, which made our beach days that much easier and more comfortable.

The path to the beach behind the cottage was slightly longer than we would have liked, and anyone who isn't fit to do a fairly steep bit of hiking should be warned that (especially when wet) it can be a somewhat treacherous descent and a difficult climb back up. We made the trek a few times, but for some it may be easier to drive around to Anini Beach or to one of the many beach parks around Hanalei.

Overall, we had a really wonderful experience and we are super grateful to have found this cozy cottage for our little trip!
