Quiet, Licensed, Clean & Affordable Cottage with Kitchenette

Bedrooms Studio
Space 800 sq ft
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 3 nights

About the property

Condo, Studio, Kitchenette, Cal-King Bed, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

This is a lovely, sweet, affordable and clean little unit. It is one of the very few 'free-standing/stand-alone' units within the Paniolo Complex. It is one of the much quieter units within Paniolo as it sits on the side that fronts the Prince Golf Course- not the street. The unit has a lanai overlooking the golf course, a CalKing bed, a full bathroom as well as a kitchenette with an apartment sized refrigerator.

Nice quiet refurbished studio apartment. Great location, has everything you need

  • 5 of 5

This little studio apartment is part of a duplex; neighbors Joy and Les are the caretakers, very handy for questions and very helpful. Though these are older buildings, the unit is nicely refurbished. The lanai is lovely but could use a good cleaning & some paint.

Very quiet, looks out on a walking path & golf course. There is a steady breeze that blows through the unit when you leave lanai door open. Fans are new and work great!

Though this is not a full kitchen, it contains everything you need to prepare small meals. Comes with basic condiments including coffee!

Great a location, within walking distance of Princeville shopping.

Complex has beautiful pool area. Unit stocks basic beach gear & towels.

Looks like most residents are full time; week days are very quiet.

Overall, an excellent unit for the price!

From a repeat renter we had a great experience!

  • 5 of 5

This was our 3rd year in a row staying at this lovely condo owned by Val. All 3 years we have stayed the entire month of July. She is in the process of redoing it and in the past 2 years has redone the bathroom and kitchen area. It is very comfortable and cozy. We eat in all our meals in the kitchenette by using the toaster oven and a 2 burner tabletop unit. We’ve fixed spaghetti, tacos, chicken, green beans, and salads. We found it to be the best rate and deal on the North Shore in Princeville. The neighbors are truly great people and best of all, there is no one above you as it is a standalone unit. We have purchased our own place for retirement next year so probably won’t be renting, but if something changes this is the condo we will rent again.

Had a great time. Unit was very good. Our only suggestion is those roll-up mats for the beach.

Probably okay for the rate but dark inside and a bit dated.

  • 3 of 5

Picture is misleading as there are two units in the building. You get only half of the cottage.

Upside: Bathroom very clean and in good shape, quiet, parking right in front of the unit.

Not so up side: Interior a little cramped and dated everything (bed, kitchenette). No toaster, hotplates, microwave and toaster oven cramped into one corner, not very comfortable to use.

The deck was not clean on arrival, but this is hopeless anyway as there is a constant falling of debris from the trees.

Location is a plus:

Nice walk down to Ainini beach (a little steep and slippery), to the Westin (restaurant and Starbucks coffee in the "Princeville Market"), also about 7 min on paved footpath to the Princeville Center (many restaurants). At night a flashlight is recommended (not provided in the unit).

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. If you go back and carefully read the information sheet you were given before booking, it addresses the fact that cottage has A & B in a duplex. We even give the A side's contact info in case you blow a fuse or need something. They are wonderful hosts and are very helpful, and we and our guests feel fortunate to have them there. We do have a toaster oven and feel a toaster would be a bit redundant. As far as flashlights, we have tried to keep them there but they walk off, as you can imagine. You are correct on the lanai- not easy to keep cleaned off. Part of living on the wet and lush North Shore- it's a constant battle.

Budget Friendly and Comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

King bed was comfy, condo was roomy and clean. Nice breeze comes in thru sliding doors. I would stay here again for sure. I didn't cook here, but kitchen area looked fine. Nice to have a fridge. Pretty quiet even with the wild roosters!
