Original hardwoods and molding from early 1900′s this historic room was once the headquarters for the Oddfellow Society, a “friendly” group of tradesmen organized to support local community in times of need. With 13 ft high ceilings, and huge windows natural light abounds this beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condo overlooking historic Church Street. The master bedroom is a en suite and features a king size bed. The second bedroom (queen) is well separated from the master and next to the hall bath (with tub). This condo features lots of natural light, comfortable living area, full kitchen with separate dining area, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, wifi, cable.

A few words about the Historical/Green Renovation that makes The Altamont one of a kind:
Renovated in 2010, the vacation condos were created to provide a pleasant, comfortable and reasonably priced quarters to spend time in Downtown Asheville. Enjoy the charm of an old building while taking advantage of modern green technology. Water is heated with solar panels on the roof, all permanent light fixtures are CFL, most materials were manufactured within 500 miles of Asheville, and paint and stains are all Low VOC resulting in very high indoor air quality. The beautiful hardwood floors are original.
Feel free to bring the entire family, we are child friendly. This unit is NOT pet friendly. Please see website for our pet friendly unit.
