We had a great time! Our family loved the home and the location is close to downtown and the Biltmore.
Beautiful house with a great view
We had a great time staying here. Check in and check out were extremely easy. The view from the top porch was amazing, especially at sunset. It felt so secluded even though it was only 4 miles from downtown Asheville. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.
Spacious Mountain retreat with city convenience
The cabin was just what we were looking for when we wanted to do a medium sized family get together with 7 people respectively. The cabin features two large sitting areas on the main floor, one with a TV as the centerpiece and the other with a fireplace. Sidenote: the fireplace became the main attraction as it was cold and snowy for our weekend stay. There was also an updated kitchen and one full bathroom. The fireplace room offered wonderful views off the mountainside which could certainly be stared at for hours. The lower level had three bedrooms and two full bathrooms and plenty of sleeping options for all. There was also a hot tub which we did not take advantage of. The best part of the cabin had to be that it is just minutes from downtown. The convenience was absolutely unbeatable. That being said, looking out any of the many windows, you do feel as if you're in the absolute wilderness. Not too shabby! We were a little worried about the steep driveway but three FWD sedans had no problem on a slushy/snowy sunday morning.
Great house for a large group of girls
Great location and marvelous views!
We had a great reunion weekend with long time friends! The porch had such great views for sunset! There were so many beds available to help accommodate our large group! We hope to come again next year!
Wonderful cabin - turned into a weekend winter wonderland!
12 of us stayed here for a weekend getaway in December, anticipating the cold but not expecting what came next. Asheville weather was calling for a chance of snow, maybe a few inches, but the weather brought over a foot of snow. The cabin has a beautiful view of the mountains and Asheville below - it was a beautiful winter wonderland!! We never lost power, which was great, the cabin stayed warm, we were able to build a fire in the fireplace inside to enjoy at night. We called the company manager to request a shovel to help us clear out the driveway and they promptly brought both a shovel and ice melt. We enjoyed a great weekend getaway, comfortably slept 12 people, and got to enjoy snow - several of our friends are Florida natives who had never seen this much snow! It was a blast! The roads were also cleared quite quickly, so we were still able to get into town and enjoy all that downtown Asheville offers. This location is great - I've been to Asheville a few times and I've never been able to stay this close to breweries, restaurants, etc., without staying in a hotel. Definitely recommend!! Thanks for a memorable weekend!
For recreation and shopping our location just couldn't be better. Asheville Mountain Vista is just 3 miles from the heart of downtown and just 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Asheville is an exciting town with great shopping, fabulous dining, nightlife and outdoor recreation. The Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village are about 6 miles from the house. Purchase discounted tkts directly from us AND they are good for 2 consecutive days of entry. In early August, Asheville hosts one of the largest street fairs of the Southeast, Bele Chere. The Blue Ridge Parkway gives our visitors easy access to Western North Carolina's beautiful outdoors, with excellent hiking, bicycling, mountain biking, fishing & motorcycling.
