Come and experience the magnificent magic of a waterfront cabin with your own dock right in the Western North Carolina's Smoky Mountains! The southern exposure will ensure bright warm sunny days and a beautiful view of the sunset in the evenings. The lake has numerous waterfalls and you can rent different watercraft at a marina nearby to explore the lake or enjoy different water sports.
Visit the traditional, quaint nearby towns of Highlands and Cashiers while staying on the lake. Lake Glenville at 3800 feet elevation has 26 miles of shoreline, is 4.5 miles long and over 1,460 acres is spring fed by 5 mountain streams. You can enjoy the refreshing 72 degree water while jet skiing, tubing, fishing and boating. The glistening shoreline of Lake Glenville has waterfalls, a Christmas tree farm, and beautiful picturesque homes.
This waterfront, A-frame vacation cabin has the master bedroom (with a extremely comfortable king size bed) and bath downstairs. Upstairs in the oversized loft are 4 twin beds, (includes a pull out trundle) and a full second private bath.
You can take your steaming, hot coffee outside in the screened-in porch to curl up with a good book or go out on the large, adjacent deck to enjoy the view. The cabin has a fireplace, wireless internet, Direct TV and all the amenities of home.
The dock will provide hours of entertainment. You can bring your own boat or rent one from the nearby marina and step right from your dock onto your boat. The are jet ski davits to hook up your jetski. We even provide two kayaks on the dock for your use.

Your blood pressure will drop in this peaceful, tranquil setting - you'll never want to leave and that's guaranteed!
This property is clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The location is convenient to restaurants, gas, and groceries. We visited in mid November. The nights were very cool. The heat and fireplace worked just fine and kept us comfortable. WiFi was also fine and the TV package was good.
We were able to kayak using the owners' two sit on top kayaks. Paddles and life preservers were included. The lake is clean and very peaceful. Hardly any boat traffic.
The trip from the cabin to the dock/lake is steep and a bit long. There are steps with a handrail. If you have mobility issues, this property would not be a good choice. If you are in shape and plan ahead, the distance to the lake is not a problem. You just need to be sure to bring everything on the first trip. We are in our late 60's and managed just fine.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely look to return.

This was our second stay at the cabin and it was delightful. The cabin was in perfect order, clean and with all amenities at our fingertips. I would recommend this rental to considering the stay. The Lake Glenville foliage and weather was beautiful. Thanks again.
Amazing view and beautiful home. My allergies acted up inside however which may have been due to weather(lack of rain, i.e. Dust & mold) we would love to return however that is a concern as there was a musty smell when it was too cold to open windows and a good dusting might help. Overall great experience!
The location and the view from the deck were awesome. The accommodations were adequate.
My wife actually said we should attempt to give this place 6 of 5 stars. Though there were a lot of stairs to the lake, this is common in the mountains of NC. The house was perfect for us. The space was welcoming and indeed felt like a home away from home. Beds were comfortable, towels were plush instead of cheap thin ones, having the kayaks at the lake was wonderful. We had 3 adults and 5 children staying here and we never felt crowded. Thank you for the wonderful time.
This cozy cabin has the best views of the lake from the awesome porches. The cabin is in a great location and close to town. It's the perfect spot for a little getaway.
This property is in a lovely small neighborhood right on the lake with its own very large dock extending right into the lake. Bring your own boat and tie it up on your own dock. It is also easy access into town, approximately 6 miles from crossroad in downtown Cashiers.
