A quaint family cabin with a whole lot of charm, this rustic retreat boasts easy access to many outdoor recreational activities. During the summer, fish and kayak in the pond, located right behind the house. During the winter, ice skate in this same place!

Away from your retreat, explore nearby Cripple Creek, Eleven Mile Canyon Recreation Area, the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, and Hackett Gulch Trailhead. If you simply want to relax and enjoy it all - sit down on the home's scenic front porch, or back deck.

Inside your stay, discover a spacious living room, complete with plush leather seating, a wood-burning fireplace, and a large TV. Here, your family can gather for movie or game nights. In the kitchen, you'll find all the appliances you need to whip up a tasty home-cooked meal. Eat family-style at the dining table.

Fun and good location

Other than ouyside needs some clean up...the stay was nice and up to our standards. Nice location for where we were going and doing. Recommended.

Kitchen had plenty of utensils. It just wasn’t as clean as I hoped.! flaws needed to clean and overhead lights and ceiling fans needed cleaning bag I ended up dusting some of them off

Overall, the listing was accurate. The house needed to be cleaned better and the dishes washed. Could also use some better pillows and blankets. Very basic. Honestly we would not stay here again

Great stay for the price

My sister and I stayed at this home 4 nights. It was a comfortable stay especially for the price. Could use a few upgrades such as better fans, new microwave and better cleaning ( particularly dusting) and pest control. However, the couch and beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, cleaning products. The covered front porch was nice. The small back deck could use a chair at least and more outside seating. Beautiful view of the nearby lake down the road from the back porch or front yard. Deer visited property a couple times during our stay, that was awesome! TV was huge and easy to use. Loved the front quiet room and decor in home. Overall very pleasant stay :)

Disappointing

The place was cozy and in a nice city, it was very dirty inside. Looked like the house hadn’t been used in months! Dust everywhere, cat/dog hair everywhere!! Microwave was filthy, washer & dryer was filthy, sheets and pillows had hair all over and mud. I wanted to take off the second day but couldn’t find a place to stay close to my family. Won’t stay again.
