About Debbie Farmer
We are Charles and Debbie Farmer, the owners of Farmer’s Inn. Debbie retired from the National Park Service (Glacier) in 2009 and now manages the Farmer's Inn. Charles is the Director of Emergency Management for Glacier County and an Emergency Medical Tech. We enjoy good company and meeting new friends. Come stay with us awhile, see you soon.
Debbie Farmer purchased this House in 2010
Why Debbie Farmer chose South Browning
Our next door neighbors of many years retired as State Legislator and Superintendent of Schools and moved to be next to their children. We bought the house and to use as a vacation/executive rental.
What makes this House unique
Farmer's Inn is 12 miles east of what the Blackfeet call the 'Backbone of the World', the magnificent Rockies and this includes GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, the 'Crown of the Continent', which shares a border with WATERTON LAKES NATIONAL PARK in southern Alberta, Canada.

Best Place to Stay
Charles and Debbie were the great hosts. Great place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay in Browning. Debbie and Charles were perfect hosts.
I would highly recommend them. The house is perfect. We had access to an outdoor grill. Perfect spot for touring Glacier National Park. Too bad about all the smoke this time but that just means we will have to come back!!!
Best place to stay in Browning!!!
Overall this was a great place to have as a jump off site for our adventures into Glacier. We were able to do some hikes in the Many Glacier area as well as the Two Medicine area, the drive to each was nothing much.
The 4 bedrooms in the house were perfect for our family, all the kids got to pick their favorite bedroom and relax in a little bit of their own space.
Fresh baked cookies on the first night we returned from Glacier (which were great BTW). Fresh cut flowers greeted us when we walked into the house the first time in.
Debbie was kind enough to show us around and honestly the entire family wanted to sit down and chat about Glacier with her for an hour or two since she had worked in the park for many years.
Thanks again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Great location to tour east side of Glacier National Park
House was very nice. Great location to drive to Many Glacier, St. Mary's entrance or Two Medicine. Had laundry access in one of the bedrooms. Kitchen was plenty big to put together picnics for long days of hiking. Living room/dining room was nice area to congregate to plan next day's activities. Would stay here again if in the area. Browning doesn't have a plethora of restaurants, so plan ahead a bit if needed.
Stayed at Farmer's Inn August 19-21, 2017. Nice place to stay. Linda went above and beyond. She had Avon body wash and lotion available and nice fluffy white towels. She had warm banana, walnut, chicken bread on the table when we arrived back in the evening. I would recommend this place if going to Glacier.
Fantastic spot to visit Glacier NP
The house is very clean, has great tissue paper, home-baked goodies, a basketball court even! We had a great time at Farmers Inn. Thank you!
