About this property

Timber Frame Guest Home

Our Timber Frame Guest home is beautifully hand crafted from Alaska Sitka Spruce wood. It is completely furnished for your comfort with many custom made pieces of furniture - bedroom sets, doors, kitchen cabinets, just to name a few. It is two stories with bedrooms on lower level and living space on upper floor to take advantage of some of Glacier Park peak views and the beauty of the timber frame construction. There is a covered deck off of the living room that has a large gas grill, table and chairs. There is a lower deck off of the main bedroom to relax on too. The main bath is large, outfitted with double sink vanity, extra large soaking tub - no jets, and separate shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with large gas stove, large refrigerator, small island, and lots of counter space. Living room has a gas fireplace, TV (NO cable service but DVD player) and stereo (no radio reception but CD player), There is a separate laundry room with washer and dryer and utility sink for your use during your stay.

The home is located in a very quiet area of town on the edge of an aspen grove and field of wild flowers. It is one block off the main road through town and is easy walking distance to a variety of services and shops - restaurants, antiques, art galleries, golf, horseback riding, groceries, car rentals, AmTrak train station (summer season only), and shuttle services to all hiking trails and lodges within Glacier National Park.

The Guest Home shares a very large yard with our other VRBO rental property listing #169524 making it an ideal place to vacation together with larger groups or multiple families. There are a variety of yard games to enjoy - badminton, volleyball, croquet, etc, and 4 townie type single speed bicycles to cruise around town on.

We are in a great location to come and explore the beauty and wonder of Glacier National Park with the ease, comforts, and services of a small town outside your front door.

Wonderful Cabin
This was our second stay, but our first time in the Timber Frame cabin. It was simply wonderful! The cabin was clean, spacious, and a great location to access Glacier from either the East side or West side. Marty (property manager) checked in with us during our stay and made us feel right at home. In addition, Marty is a wealth of knowledge and made some great fishing and hiking suggestions when we caught up with him midway through our stay. Thank you for letting us stay at this wonderful cabin in Glacier.

Beautiful house, well laid-out
The house is beautiful inside, with exposed timber framing and high ceilings, and large windows onto the woods behind the back yard. The kitchen is well-equipped with large center island. There are very few negatives, and lots of raves. The neighborhood is a little tight, but the thoughtful orientation of the house makes it feel more spacious and private than one would expect. Despite cold weather and rain, I enjoyed hanging out on the upper deck with the view of the woods.

Classy cabin
Very comfortable cabin just outside of Two Medicine area in Glacier NP. Very nicely furnished, including good cookware and kitchen tools, even a nice stand mixer! Near a general store with grocery essentials where we picked up a couple forgotten food and drink items. The balcony was a perfect spot for enjoying a cup of coffee while enjoying the fall colors. For travelers with young kids: They have a baby gate for the stairs and some toys. We brought our own pack n play, which was able to fit easily in either of the spacious bedrooms. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations and we would gladly return.
