This is THE most economical Ocean Club townhouse that has been renovated. (Call me to find out why) On the Oceanside of the street at South Forest Beach, Ocean Club is one of Hilton Head Island's most popular and convenient locations. You can walk to the grocery, restaurants, coffee shop, and more! Only two minutes from your front door to the beach!

The complex is made up of 52 villas and is only steps from the beach. This sweet property is professionally landscaped and has a new patio with new outdoor furniture. It overlooks a lovely landscaped courtyard and brand new heated pool area with a gorgeous pool deck.

In the area you'll find miniature golf, tennis, biking, and plenty of shopping and delicious (and kid-friendly, too!) restaurants all just a short walk away!

Included is one hour of free tennis per day at Van Der Meer Tennis Center-within walking distance. Weekly fitness center membership available for just $35!!

Our new kitchen with new French-door fridge, tiled first floor with new area rugs, all new high-end mattresses and freshly painted and carpeted condominium is an ocean side unit (no streets to cross to get to the ocean). It has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms (both located on the second floor) and is approximately 1300 square feet. The sliding glass door of the villa is approximately 25 yards to the pool and 75 yards to the beach. And yes--we now have free wireless internet service!!! Our unit accommodates a party of 4-6 adults most comfortably.

Why Jan S. chose South Forest Beach

We've been coming to Hilton Head for 30 years, always in the Forest Beach Area. The location is convenient, and our condo is an easy walk to the grocery, retail shops, and restaurants. We love driving right up to the front door and not having to load our luggage into an elevator. No long hallways to deal with and no fumbling for the keys--there's a keyless entry and you'll get the code before you arrive.

Hilton Head Island is proud of its plentiful, easily accessible top-notch bike paths that pass right by Ocean Club. The beach is fabulous--it's deep during low tide and wide with a very level beach to walk on. None of that low beach with one foot and high beach with another, if you know what I mean. (some beaches are like that!) You can walk in both directions and see inspiring scenery along the shoreline--tall pine evergreens and shorter palmetto trees (the state tree of SC--it's even on the license plates!) with plenty of greenery and flowers on the dunes of the land side of the beach and beautiful ocean waves and shore birds on the ocean side of the beach. And the sand--it's really really soft and gentle on the feet here. I'm pretty sure you'll love it.

This condo has brand new top-of-the-line mattresses for a comfortable night's sleep, a fully stocked kitchen if you want to cook, a wonderful new patio area right out the sliding glass door that reveals a newly renovated courtyard with a newly renovated pool (8 ft deep end!) and it's now heated. That's good news in the shoulder seasons.

The front closet houses toys for small kids, some boogy boards, and paddleboard for all ages.

When you stay here, you're my guest and I'm happy to help you have a great place for your vacation. Call me if you want to talk further about why this condo is more economical than the others in Ocean Club.

What makes this condo unique

When staying at Ocean Club, you can walk along the beach toward the Coligny Bakery, where the chocolate croissants are incredible! Grab a newspaper at the Piggly Wiggly and head back to enjoy the surf! If it's early enough, you will probably see the dolphins! You can leave your car behind at Ocean Club and walk to restaurants and shops. We're close to the back gate of Sea Pines in case you want to spend an evening at Harbor Town or South Beach enjoying the music.

There are SO many great restaurants nearby, some you could walk to at Coligany Plaza, the island's original "downtown" (which is really a small shopping center packed with great shops and restaurants) and some are within a 5 to 8 minute drive. Just ask and I'll be happy to recommend a ton of places to eat and also great family activities if you're new to Hilton Head.

If you feel like cooking, there are 5 excellent grocery stores that are also within 5-8 minutes away, from Publix, Bi-Lo and Harris-Teeter to Whole Foods and Fresh Market. The kitchen at my condo is fully stocked with everything you'll need, including a crock pot.

Of course you'll want seafood and if you're one of my renters, I'll be more than happy to fill you in on the best of the best, whether for a family with small children, teenagers or if you just want a romantic evening recommendation for seafood and beyond. I've tried many HHI restaurants and am happy to tell you about my favorites.

Wonderful condo

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The condo was exactly like it had been represented and the owner couldn't be easier to work with. Short and easy walk to both pool and beach. Parking close to front door. Great for kids, too. Walked to nearby restaurants. Will definitely plan another trip to stay in this lovely vacation home.

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable

We have been staying at Ocean Club for twenty years but this was our first time staying in this condo. It is very tastefully decorated and comfortable. We love the updated kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Also, the cleanliness of the entire condo was impressive. We are super thankful to have found such a great condo in a place that we are so familiar with and love. The newly renovated pool, patios, and walkways are wonderful. It was easy to relax there. Thanks so much!

Highly Recommend! Perfect condo for vacation getaway

This condo is perfect for a family getaway. The Ocean Club condo community is secluded, quiet and has private access to the beach. The pool for this complex is now heated and is very well maintained.

This particular unit is clean, spacious (has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, laundry and living area. The kitchen is well stocked so you don't have to bring hardly anything.

The unit's patio is newly re-done and this unit is adjacent to the pool. Walk out the back door and you are steps away from the beach.

The owner is very responsive and easy to work with.

We have booked this unit three years in a row and plan to continue to do so.

Beautiful property, conveniently located to beach, shops and restaurants!

We visited here for spring break and had a fantastic time. The townhouse was lovely, with private beach access just a short walk away, parking right outside the door and a beautiful pool area just steps outside our back door. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Short walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bike rentals. Very quiet. Met the friendly owners next door who come down each spring for several months. Jan was a pleasure to work with, giving us great information about the area and was very quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect beach vacation for a family of four.

The townhouse was perfect for a family of four. The beds were top of the line and ideal for a comfortable nights rest. It was very roomy and extremely comfortable. The beach was easily accessible and very close walking distance (even with your hands full of beach chairs and a cooler). Also the townhouse is in an ideal location - extremely close to Coligny Shopping Plaza - we had quite a few evening we would just ride the bikes to get dinner. We had an amazing time for our first stay in Hilton Head Island.

Great Vacation!

There were four adults and one toddler (age 14 months) that stayed here, and it was our first trip to the beach with our little one. We LOVED the location of this rental. It was just steps away from the pool, as well as the beach. It was perfect to run back and forth with our little one. The property wasn't very crowded, and the beach was clean and not very crowded either (except for the actual day of Memorial Day). We enjoyed biking around the area, including the local shops and restaurants. The actual rental itself was very clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. Jan, thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us. We will definitely return in the future!

Hilton Head has sumptuous restaurants for all ages and taste preferences from Low Country cuisine, to vegetarian, from Italian, sushi or ice cream to the Hilton Head Diner or top-notch fresh seafood. All have kids' menus.

When you rent from me, all you need to do is ask and I'll be glad to let you in on the secrets that only the locals know as far as the best restaurants and activities for any age group, family group or events (girls vacay, grandparents trip with kids, romantic getaway).

Great shopping, lots of outdoor activities. Dolphin cruises, sea kayaking in Broad Creek, excellent bike trails alongside most roadways.

I highly recommend Honey Horn History Museum for all age vacationers. They sponsor daily informative walks and tours on the nearby beaches (about plants and animals), at the Pinkney Island wildlife refuge, and around the original historic areas including the Gullah cultural sites on the island.
