The Sunnyside of Life Retreat is the ideal location to feel inspired & relaxed while creating timeless memories. Our 3 BR/3 BA villa is located in the heart of HHI in the premier oceanfront resort community of Palmetto Dunes. We back up to 1 of 3 signature golf courses, a top 50 tennis center in the world, 24 pickleball courts, 30 steps to the pool (open April 1- Nov. 1) and a 10 minute walk to 3 miles of pristine beach! Relax on our back deck, shaded by beautiful oak trees with hanging moss.

We’ve got 2 King Beds and 4 Bunks, as well as a Pack N Play. We’ve got Wall Connect Four and Scrabble and lots of family games, plus Roku and Cable. Fully appointed kitchen for cooking, bbq and gas grill! Walk right onto the golf course or pool deck! 1 mile walk/bike/free shuttle to the BEACH!!

The streets of Palmetto Dunes Resort are ideal for biking, and the resort and surrounding area offer more than 50 miles of paved bike paths that lead all over the island. Shelter Cove is located across the street via a dedicated path. The centerpiece of Hilton Head Island, Shelter Cove is a mixed-use community with residential units, shops, a marina, plaza, parks, and a spectacular outdoor shopping and entertainment center. Located across from Palmetto Dunes on 285 acres of salt water coastline, the Shelter Cove Community includes Shelter Cove Harbour, Shelter Cove Plaza, and the new Shelter Cove Towne Centre. There is a grocery store right there as well.

Palmetto Dunes has a great General Store with lots of food/drink/candy choices as well as Soft Serve Ice Cream! Right across from the General Store is a Bike/Kayak rental place. Our locked bikes are not for guest use as our insurance will not cover guests on bikes. Sorry!
Pickleball is huge in Palmetto Dunes! You can play throughout the day. Stop into the Tennis/Pickleball shop to find out times/rates.
Two parking passes are included with your stay. We are only allowed two parking spots, so please don’t plan to bring more than two cars.
Please use common sense and treat the villa and neighbors with the same level of respect that you would want in return. Be mindful of noise levels, particularly outside. No parties allowed. No garments, towels or similar items may be hung from the windows or decks. Please make sure there is no litter on the deck or entrance areas. No fireworks or sparklers are allowed.

Parking is limited. Only two cars per unit are allowed. All vehicles must have a pass displayed in the front window. Passes may be obtained at the welcome/security building on the right as you enter the Palmetto Dunes Resort or for after hours, see “after hours check-in area” area. Any vehicles found parked without a pass will be ticketed for $100 at the owner/renter’s expense.

PLEASE do not smoke anywhere inside or outside of our villa, including the deck. The smell gets inside and disturbs future guests.
