The home sits on a 30-acre property in a beautiful location, this cozy retreat offers an inviting escape into nature's embrace. Whether you're keen on exploring the woods, mushroom picking, or hunting (with proper licenses), there's no shortage of outdoor adventures to be had.
The Space:
This two-level forestland has been entirely renovated and is stocked with a variety of items.
- Featuring a 7-person outdoor Hot tub, Outdoor SAUNA, 3 -season room with an electric fireplace, and a Roku big-screen TV.
-The house has 3 bedrooms.
-The master bedroom on the first floor with a king-size bed and a 55" Roku smart TV. The master bathroom offers a tranquil retreat with a tub, rain shower, and dual sinks.
-The 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom includes a king-size bed, and second bedroom has 3 full-size beds. The second floor shares a bathroom with a shower and 2 double sinks.
-The bathroom with a washer and dryer is on the first floor.

The family room features 55" Roku smart TV with seating for 7 people. The connected dining area offers seating for six, while the breakfast bar provides additional seating for three.
The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with everything you need for preparing delicious meals, from a waffle maker and breakfast sandwich maker to essential cookware and utensils. The coffee area caters to caffeine enthusiasts with a coffee maker, Keurig, espresso maker, electric kettle, and even a shaved ice maker for refreshing treats. Countertop ice maker for your convenience is available as well.

Venture beyond the property to explore nearby attractions, with South Haven just about a 24-minute drive away and St. Joseph within 15 minutes away. Whether you're indulging in wine tasting at local wineries or soaking up the sun at nearby beaches, this charming house offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure for your getaway (plus no neighbors close by!).
Pet friendly, one dog up to 50 lbs. allowed per stay with additional pet fee
Parking is available on the driveway, no parking allowed on a grass both front or back yard. The outdoor cameras on the driveway and garage are for your safety and security and the home features a smart lock for convenient and smooth check-in. All cameras are outside and are not monitored and only viewed if there is an incident at the property.

ABSOLUTELY NO FIREWORKS ARE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY, DUE TO FIRE RISK IN THE WOODS.
The house is situated in a wooded, natural setting. To prevent unwanted visitors like ants, flies, mosquitoes, and mice, please keep the doors and windows closed.
We provide enough toiletries to get you started, as well as laundry supplies for a few loads. Any additional items will be the guest’s responsibility.
The hot tub ad sauna is available year-round.

Highly recommend

We had a great experience at this property. Very peaceful, easy check in, great communication with owner and close to a lot of activities for the adults and kids. The entirety of the property is super clean and up to date. Kitchen was well stocked and even had a lot of games to play for the adults and kids.a lot of firewood available and the hot tub was perfect. Would definitely book here again if we are in the south haven area.

A Nice Country Getaway

A peaceful country setting with an updated home surrounded by woods was very nice! The hosts were both accommodating and helpful when we had questions. About 15 minutes to the beach and in the heart of blueberry picking country we picked 9 lbs to bring home.

Great hot.tub!

Our daughter was married sunday, so this limited our stay, but the house was beautiful, and we appreciated a fully stocked kitchen and nice dishwasher. The hot tub was awesome! Beds very comfortable.

Just as described

The check in process was seamless. We loved the house, very cute and clean. The house actually had quality furniture, most of the rental houses I've used have had uncomfortable/"cheap" feeling furniture but not this one. The hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed the open yard. If we ever return to this area we would absolutely stay again!

Charming

We had very nice stay. Communication was great starting before we even booked the property. Nice home tucked away in a private wooded area. We were able to relax after a funday of activities in several of the nearby towns. Closest to South Haven, we spent more time there, but also went to Kalamazoo, St Joseph, Holland, and Paw Paw Paw. There were so many things to do in the area. The home was secure with cameras and lighting for night time entrance. Beds were all comfortable. House was nicely appointed with things you might need and was very clean!! Definitely would stay here again and would recommend to our friends and family.

Lovely Stay!

We had a terrific week in this lovely old farmhouse that has been nicely renovated. Very roomy for my husband and me, plus two adult daughters. Also very clean. Kitchen was well stocked so that we stayed in and cooked all but one night. The coffee bar was also a terrific idea for travelers. The location was fantastic! It was close to everything. The Big Lake was an easy 15-20 minutes away. We have become familiar with this area so don’t require a “Lakefront Location.” This place is more secluded and peaceful. We had two fur babies with us and really enjoyed the opportunity to have them with us. The laundry room was also a huge plus and the washer with automatically dispensing detergent was an absolute revelation for this traveling family! Thanks for your warm hospitality and thoughtful additions that made our stay easy and fun.
