The cabin located conveniently near shopping, restaurants, groceries, and all activities for children of all ages. Host, amenities, and scenery make this a definite return for us! All around great bang for the buck.
The host was very communicative. Cabin was clean and the host did not expect us to do a lot for cleanup before we left. Very peaceful but not a lot of space outside except on the decks. We all enjoyed our stay and was close to town.
Great Tennessee cabin in the woods. Close enough to all the attractions but far enough away from the noise. Cabin was clean and hosts were courteous and informative. Everything was simple and made our stay more enjoyable.
The cabin was very cute! It was still in the trees and quiet, but close enough to all of the activities to not be an issue going back and forth to do things!
We had several issues… first, the hot tub- wasn’t warm when we arrived but we figured out how to turn it on and heat up but the next morning the thing went crazy and sprayed out ALL of the warm water, buttons wouldn’t work or turn off. The water also smelled disgusting and wasn’t clean when we arrived. And it was a different hot tub than what is pictured and not a new one… looks like it’s seen better days. The loft bathroom had drainage problems and smelled like sewage the first time we used the sink. Plumber came out about that and we never used it again. New kitchen appliances BUT the fridge sticks out too far blocking the dishwasher from opening. Washer and dryer also were unpredictable and took 3-4 cycles to dry one load of laundry. A lot of the furniture was loose and wobbly, or broken. The cabin was pretty clean for us but they DEFINITELY need to revamp this place.
The cabin was decently clean except for the basement bathroom, which was moldy. The water filtration system suddenly started making a loud noise, like a washing machine does at 3 a.m., and woke us all up, as we thought the water line had busted. There is no door for one of the beds in the basement. Overall, it was a good stay.

The overall maintenance of the cabin was unsatisfactory. Hot tub was disguising. Water leak in the downstairs bathroom wasn’t addressed. Water kept shutting off due to poor pump valve. Had to wait on maintenance to come and reset. The total cabin was not well maintained. Kitchen chairs broken. Living room sofas nasty. Rugs look as though they had never been cleaned or replaced. The total place was a mess. Don’t waste your money! Very unhappy

Absence of smoke detector and CO2 detector. Inadequate lighting throughout the property. Damaged lamp shade in the upstairs bedroom. Grill grate is dirty. The main floor bathroom lacks a curtain on the window facing the hot tub. The upstairs bathroom is missing a drain plug for the sink. Uncomfortably warm upstairs. The large windows appear unwashed. Outdated furniture. Dusty woodwork and window frames. Basement floor is dirty around the bathroom fixtures and walls. Noisy fan above the dining room table. Dishwasher door cannot be opened fully due to hitting the refrigerator. Air conditioner fails to cool the house to 74 degrees despite it being 82 degrees outside. Bathtub upstairs drains slowly and gurgles when using the handwashing sink. Leaking toilet upstairs fills up every 5 minutes. Decks are dirty and have raised nails. Worn furniture and an old rug on the deck of the upstairs bedroom. Coffee pods provided but no coffee pod maker. Upstairs bed lacks a fitted sheet and has a worn-out mattress with a foam egg mattress on top. In the downstairs room with a door, the fan cannot be run without the light on due to the lack of a pull chain. The 3rd bedroom in the basement lacks privacy, being an open room with a glass door without a curtain.

Red Bone cabin
Property as described however majority of bedrooms/sleeping areas is in the dank basement. Basement shower did not work.
Size was perfect for our group of 6 for our short stay. Place was very clean & conveniently located. Hot tub was big enough to fit us all & clean. Shower on bottom level did not work and there was very little water pressure throughout the property. Fridge is too big for space, although nice, but makes it difficult to load dishwasher (Which is part of the check out instructions) without moving. Overall pleased with stay & property & would rent again.

The cabin was ok, Driveway was to small, i felt like i was going to fall down the mountain to get in and out of my car.The hot tub was great. Cleanliness needed some work. Down stairs there was mold in the bathroom and on toilet. The tub down stairs had a crack in and did not feel safe. The humidifiers had to be emptied in order to use. There is no curtain on the full glass door where someone had to sleep. Cobb webs on the decks. Main floor bathroom needs a curtain. The kitchen sink needed a stopper so we could wash the dishes and why does the refrigerator have an ice maker with water hooked to it but does not work.
Great location. Bathrooms could use modernization, but overall acceptable. There was a decent size black bear that came by once to say good morning (really neat). Decks could use some TLC, but nothing was unsafe. There is a photo of a jacuzzi tub in the listing, but it is no longer there. Overall a decent value for the cost.
My husband and I had a lovely stay at Red Bone Retreat. It was exactly what we wanted - a cabin in the woods with all the modern conveniences, and still close to town and services.
The wifi signal was strong, things were clean, and we enjoyed the hot tub quite a lot.
Be aware when you approach the propety that the street it is on does not have a street sign. We thought it was a driveway and didnt believe the GPS, drove a ways up the mountain where the street comes out, and then back down the mountain on the street to the house. Then we figured out how close the house actually was to the turn we missed. Haha.
Our trip to this cabin started off bad immediately. I parked beside the cabin and within a couple of minutes, a tow truck driver was trying to tow my vehicle. I was waiting on two more vehicles to arrive before pulling in the driveway. There’s no sign that’s says you you can’t park there and there was plenty of room to go around me.The WiFi didn’t work and the showers barely worked. The bathrooms didn’t have curtains to block the view which was really strange.
