Paradise for sure!

  • 5 of 5

First of all the cabin was really lovely. The gas stove in the living room was just the right touch to make us feel cozy. The beds were comfortable and everything in the cabin was in working order.

The views out the cabin windows were breathtaking. We were thrilled to have deer right up close to the cabin. Temperatures did not allow but the two porches looked so inviting.

We could tell that this place was well loved by the host and his wife. We hope to return soon!

Cute and cozy cabin

  • 4 of 5

4 of us stayed in this cabin on a recent trip to Yellowstone National Park. While it is half an hour or so from the park it was a great place to stay. Our host, Neil was very friendly and informative regarding the area. He even replaced the propane grill when it quit in the middle of our dinner one night. The cabin is located in a beautiful valley with a view of the mountains and a great front porch for relaxing and enjoying the views. Deer came right up to the cabin and elk gathered in the fields below us making evening wildlife viewing a must. The cabin is small but worked well for 4 adults. The only reasons for not rating this stay 5 stars are: the futon/bed in the back room is quite hard, the coffee maker only makes 2 cups at a time ( we had noted this in a previous review and brought our own), the fridge is very small, and the oven cannot be used which limited our meal options. If you plan to eat out most of the time these drawbacks are minimal however. Overall, we had a great time at this cabin.

Owner's Response: Thank you Pamela for your input. I am glad that I was able to quickly supply a new refilled propane bottle for that beautiful brand new Grill. I think in this next year we will replace the Futon/memory foam bed with a New regular Bed/Boxspring combination which should easily resolve that question although it is the first time someone has mentioned it. I think also a larger streamlined 8 cup coffee maker will be a great addition for that space for next year, when we find the perfect one to replace the 4 cup Cuisinart that is presently there. No other apologies for this beautiful little Cabin however are necessary because it is a clean beautiful jewel of a Cabin and we are quite clear and up-front about it being an efficiency kitchen and not designed for extensive cooking which is best accomplished on the New Grill outside. I am happy that you enjoyed your stay.

Great Energy

  • 5 of 5

Lovely cabin in a beautiful setting. Incredibly friendly hosts. Though we did not get to them, they made sure that our stay was as warm and welcoming as possible, and they graciously and easily accommodated our late arrival. We stayed in the cabin for 3 nights as we visited Yellowstone. The cabin is located just a short drive from a main road, which is only about 25 miles from the park. My girlfriend loved the energy of the place. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The right cabin in the right location.

  • 5 of 5

We spent one of the most enjoyable and enlightening two weeks we have ever experienced

whilst on holiday.

Not only because of the excellent little cabin, made to fit in with the beautiful surrounding

mountain scenery, but because of Neil and Linda also.

We left knowing that both Neil and Linda and my wife and myself had formed an everlasting

Clean cabin

  • 5 of 5

Very clean and well maintained cabin. It is fairly remote and has about 1/3 mile of gravel before you get to the cabin. We enjoyed staying there, watching the deer from the porch and would definitely do it again if we stayed in the area. The only drawback is it only has only a 2 cup coffee maker, not good for coffee people. The bed in the back bedroom is a bit hard, but it is workable. All in all in was a good place to stay.
