My husband, Mark, and I met in 2009 and we have been together ever since. We have a beautiful 5 ½ year old daughter and a handsome 20 month old son. My husband was born and raised in the Asheville area and I moved here 9 years ago from Destin, Fl. I was in search of new things and a greater enjoyment of all things the outdoors has to offer. Asheville just felt right, and I quickly fell in the love with the Asheville area. We currently live in west Asheville, just 20 minutes from the cottage, but we are building our dream home at the top of property where the cottage sits.

What makes this Cottage unique
We became the lucky owners of this dream property mid 2016. It's location in the Asheville area and everything that the property has to offer truly makes this property very special and a dream for us to have. One of the main reasons that we chose this property is because it is an absolute gem. This property sits on 16 acres, has an acre sized pond, yet is quintessential to all things Asheville and the surrounding area have to offer. One can travel just 3 minutes down the road and enjoy an entire evening of shopping, dinner, and a movie without having to go very far. Travel just 15-20 minutes down the interstate in either direction, and you can be in downtown Asheville or historical Hendersonville. What truly makes this property special is how close you are to everything, yet it feels like you are in the country. Hiking, mountain biking, tubing, kayaking, picnicking, outlet shopping, and more are all within under 10 minutes of this property.

Wonderful stay would definitely recommend for a peaceful get away
Older property but clean and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Stars above a hotel stay.
Cool old, rustic Stone Cottage
This property is unique. It has a good location close to the airport and about midway between Asheville and Brevard.
The house has electric space heaters and window AC units that get the job done. The farm setting is peaceful once you get past the trailers, ambulance base, and other businesses at the beginning of the road. The hottub was on its last leg and struggled to stay hot as it kept tripping the breaker. The owners are plank in ne to replace it, which will make the place much better. Overall, it’s a quiet place that is affordable for the area. If you like rustic, it has plenty.
This was a very cozy mountain cabin, perfect for two couples. We had a great time!
Thank you is not enough! this beautiful stone cottage made our stay in Ashville amazing! Setting in the morning in that sunroom for breakfast watching the cow, deers and turkeys is so relaxing! Or getting warm on that hot tub outside during the night under fire light is so romantic. My wife and I really enjoyed the time we spent there and will go back for sure. Thanks a lot for the owner for sharing it.
