Welcome to Cozy Cottage

Cute cottage in a great location for your vacation destination. Cozy Cottage is located just one mile from public Lake Michigan beach access at Grand Haven State Park. You will also be within walking distance of downtown Grand Haven where you can shop, eat, and play! Make sure to spend time in the spacious backyard where you will find lounge chairs to soak up the sun or an awning to enjoy the shade and a gas grill for outdoor cooking.

INSIDE THE HOME
This cottage features 1 bedroom with a queen bed and additional sleeping on the sleeper sofa in the living room. The home features a fully equipped kitchen and central air. The bedroom and all of the living space are located on the main floor of the home. This is a pet friendly home!

Note from Owner: "Welcome to The Cozy Cottage - This was my home for many years & I miss it daily!!! I miss the band-aid box top to the strip of copper covering old holes, the wood walls & ceilings, old door knob and crooked floors - the house has character. The main part of the home was probably built in 1860's with the kitchen area being added in the 1920's. It was a work of love to fix up and I hope others can enjoy its quirky cuteness. The location is incredible - you are with-in walking distance to beaches, shopping and restaurants. Every year we are able to do some improvements with the latest being the addition of the big sliders leading to the back yard. Next is the kitchen! So come back again and see what the next year brings. I hope you enjoy your stay."

OURDOOR SPACE
You and your dogs can enjoy the fenced backyard, perfect for playing games or lounging in the sun. It's furnished with a table and chairs, making it a peaceful spot to relax and soak in the outdoors.

Grand Haven is located on the shores of Lake Michigan. We are a quaint, little beach town recently named the "Happiest Seaside Town in America," by Coastal Living Magazine. Here, your family will find Grand Haven State Park, which was voted in the Top 10 Best Beaches in the world by Travel+Leisure Magazine. The boardwalk stretches one and a half miles, beginning at Chinook Pier and ending at the iconic red lighthouse. Historic, affordable, and amusing, the trolley is continually traveling throughout the waterfront and downtown areas dropping you off at any desired location. At the end of the day, grab a blanket to sit on and head to the Waterfront Stadium where the whole family can enjoy the Musical Fountain. This synchronized lights, water, and music show has coined the title "World's Largest." This free show plays nightly at dusk throughout the summer. Lucky for you, all of this is just minutes away and waiting for you to revel in.

Great Getaway!

Quaint little house located on a quiet street. Just a short walk to all that downtown GrandHaven has to offer…restaurants, breweries, boats and the beach. Highly recommend!

This is a cozy little cottage with lots of vintage charm! The management company was absolutely fabulous to work with. You can’t beat the location. It was within walking distance to everything!

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this property with our dog over a long weekend. We loved the location and how close it was to all the main attractions in Grand Haven. We were able to walk to almost everything, and enjoyed all the local restaurants, state parks, and state Park near by. We felt safe staying at this property, and would return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute little house. The selling point is the location-neighborhood is nice and quiet. You can easily walk to restaurants and shops and the beach is about a 20-25 minute walk. The house was clean, kitchen has what you need (appliances are dated but work fine) and bed was comfortable. Backyard is large and it has a small patio area. This house is ideal for 2 people or a couple with a small child.

Cute House Close to Downtown and Beach

We had a great stay at this little house for a long weekend getaway. Our two girls were planning on sleeping on the pull out sofa but the mattress was not comfortable at all. Luckily they were both able to sleep on the couch and the love seat. This house was an easy walk to downtown and took us about 25 minutes to walk to the beach which was doable. The area was quiet and felt very safe as well.

The location can’t be topped, 5 min walk to downtown or the boardwalk but in a quite neighborhood location with a peaceful backyard. The house is functional for 2 people. The fees are too high - the most fees I’ve paid on the smallest space

The property was a little run down. Yes it is older, however, being in a nice neighborhood, it would be nice if the general cosmetic eas freshened up a bit. Wouldnt take much. Yard is partially fenced in, neighborhood is very nice. Bed needs a new matress.

Enjoyed our stay

We brought our pup with us and that worked out well. Dogs were allowed at all the patios we dined at in town. We wanted to take our dog to the beach but the beach we walked to did not allow pets and charged a fee. We drove to a dog beach instead. (Kuse beach?) That was good! Internet and A/C were good. I might suggest keeping a blow dryer at the cottage for guests. Great little place to get away 😊

Cute and clean

Pet-friendliness is so important to us, as our two pups are our family and travel with us wherever we go. Despite this being a home that allows pets, it showed no negative signs of being so. The home was very clean, no odd odors, etc. Bed was comfy, though it seems to be a queen, not a king. AC worked well. The home was in a nice location within walking distance to the center of town, lots of restaurants, shops, breweries, etc. It was perfect for our stay, and we would return next time we are in the area.
