Perfect little getaway
Perfect place to get away with the pets and kids. We stayed with out two teenage sons and our two Aussies, and we all had a great time.
My husband and sons enjoyed fishing on the lake in the morning and evenings. My pups enjoyed swimming and playing fetch on the lake, as well as meandering around the property and enjoying all the smells. There is a lovely porch to hang out with the pups on while they dry.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook. We brought breakfast and lunch foods and found local places to order dinner from. There are tons of restaurants nearby.
The cabin is clean and it wasn't hard to leave it how we found it as there are hardwood floors and everything is very family friendly.
There are many nearby places to go hiking or take a ride up the Blue Ridge Parkway to enjoy the scenery.
I really can't say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back.
Such a sweet little vintage cottage!
We had a nice relaxing weekend watching the wildlife on the pond and the birds on the feeders. The weather was chilly, but we were met with a nice, warm fire in the stone fireplace when we arrived. The furniture was comfy and there were lots of throws and blankets to cozy up with. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with, so we were able to make all of our meals there from scratch. I loved the vintage cabinets and countertop. Although we didn't use it because it was chilly, the screened in porch would be awesome for summer. My daughter wrapped in up in a blanket and spent a lot of time out in the swing. This little cottage is the perfect place for kicking back and taking it easy. Anne was very responive to all messages and very helpful We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!
Rustic Lakeside Cabin
Really enjoyed our trip. Cabin is in a great location to see Hendersonville and the surrounding area. Dogs loved it too.
Family and dog friendly
Second visit to this well located property. Feel private area but access to town is easy!
Our properties are close to many things in the Western North Carolina area like the The Flat Rock Theatre, Tour the National Park Service’s Connemara, the former home to Pulitzer Prize winning poet, Carl Sandberg. Historic Downtown Hendersonville offers a serpentine Main Street, perfect for strolling as you enjoy the many art galleries, antique stores, unique shops and fabulous restaurants. Throughout the year there are many downtown festivals and events with the fall Apple Festival as one of the largest.
Within one hour of Hendersonville you can experience the rolling hills and equestrian countryside of Polk County known for their annual BBQ Festival, or Buncombe County’s eclectic city of Asheville with its world renowned Biltmore Estate, or you can take a beautiful drive to Brevard in Transylvania County and experience the “land of the waterfalls” and see numerous white squirrels! Rutherford County has a great deal to offer with the stunning views at Chimney Rock Park and Lake Lure.
