About Robyn

This house was built by my grandparents in the 1960's after moving up from the Grosse Pointe Farms area in southeastern MI. My parents acquired it in 2013. Since then we have remodeled the majority of the house, including brand new appliances, floors and much more.

Robyn purchased this house in 2013

Why Robyn chose Northwest

The rooms are spacious and comfortable for groups of families and friends. Outside, one can enjoy a large yard as well as a view of Lake Michigan and the sandy beach across the street. The location is within walking distance of downtown Suttons Bay, the grocery store and many other amenities.

Such a beautiful home that accommodated our group perfectly!

  • 5 of 5

The home and property was better than we had imagined! Plenty of room to relax and entertain with friends. We loved that the home was walking distance to Hop Lot, and we enjoyed having the bay so close too. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the house was comfortable and cozy. Robyn was amazingly gracious and kind. It truly was an awesome place to stay for the weekend. We will be back next year 😊

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

The property is BETTER than described. Plenty of space, plenty of amenities. Clean, clean, clean! Well stocked. Wonderful beach across the street for the kiddo's. The location was fantastic for everywhere we wanted to visit. 15 minutes from Fishtown, 20 from Traverse City, 40 minutes to Sleeping Bear. Walking distance to wonderful downtown Sutton's Bay. I cannot speak highly enough about this rental and we'll definitely be returning if it's not booked solid.

Highest Recommendation

  • 5 of 5

The description and photos are accurate. The house was clean, well furnished, and ideally located. There is a good grocery store and a place to rent bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards on the other side of the highway, about 500 feet away. The beach and park are even closer. It is only a short, safe walk into town, where there are excellent restaurants and interesting shops. Although we took a couple of trips away (to Interlochen, Sleeping Bear Dunes, etc.), we could have easily spent the week actively involved without ever using a car.

Three generations of our family (ages 7 to 75) found the house to be an ideal base for a wonderful vacation. The owners were very friendly and accomodating. In summary, we couldn't think of a single thing that we wish had been different, so it gets our highest recommendation.

Great location - Very nice owners and accomodations

  • 5 of 5

Small beach across the street that's off the beaten trail. We walked to town every day - Big lot with firepit. Plenty of room for 2 couples with 9 kids. Robin and her husband are very nice people and live local if you need any help.
