Nestled among the redwoods of Cazadero, Creekside Cottage is located in the oasis of Elim Grove, on the grounds of the award-winning Raymond's Bakery – the perfect place to unwind and enjoy Sonoma County.
We enjoy providing a warm, appetizing atmosphere in this undiscovered woodland paradise along tranquil Austin Creek, only 20 minutes from Guerneville, Russian River wineries, or the Pacific Ocean.
Creekside Cottage sleeps 2 in an crisp, light wood interior with stylish furnishings and a queen bed. It also features a cozy sitting room as well as a small garden view room with a daybed (with trundle), a propane wood stove, a microwave & fridge, and a private bathroom with shower.
The cottage is only a stone's throw from Austin Creek and a few minute walk up the creek to a swimming hole. Wake up to the bubbling of the creek, take a plunge, enjoy strolls along nearby trails, play bocce, relax under the gazebo and nap in the garden room or under the Gravenstein apple tree. Share a romantic evening in front of the propane wood stove or by the campfire.
Please note that Creekside Cottage can sleep up to 4 people including the twin daybed with lower trundle. There is a per night charge for each additional person beyond double occupancy. Children 4 and under are free.
For larger groups of up to 17 persons, book Elim Grove Cottage together with Gravenstein Cottage, Paradise Grove Cottage, Creekside Cottage and Baker's Loft - all located on the grounds near the bakery.
'We stayed a few nights with Mark and Elizabeth, and all I can say is they are the best hosts ever. . .Our daughter loved the little playground next to the bakery, it was also a plus that Mark offered a stroller which we forgot at home. Every morning a hot breakfast was provided and it was delicious!'

'Friendliest family around! The generosity was astounding.'

Nine years ago my wife and I fell in love with an abandoned restaurant with four tired cottages on three acres of wild blackberries and old growth redwoods on Austin Creek. It has been an exhausting/exhilarating labor of love that has enriched our lives in more ways than we ever imagined. We hope that you will enjoy it as much as we have!

Come stay with us and benefit from the tranquility and beauty of Austin Creek with majestic Old Growth redwoods towering above. Relax and unwind in our little corner of paradise.
Our Cottages are located on the grounds of award-winning Raymond’s Bakery. While you are here, you are welcome to enjoy an afternoon in the garden, take a stroll along Austin Creek, play bocce, relax under the gazebo or nap under the Gravenstein apple tree. In the evenings you can unwind by the campfire.
We own and are the bakers at Raymond's Bakery Bed & Breakfast just a three minute walk around the redwoods. So be ready for some gold-medal baked goodies to welcome you to our corner of paradise. We can also share the secrets of a few swimming holes and where to find the best skipping stones. The cottage is directly across from the creek. You can hear the babbling from the bedroom windows as you fall asleep.
My husband and I wanted our 16mo son to get some outdoors time, and Elim Grove was perfect, peaceful, and welcoming of us as a family. There is a little playground on the property that belongs to the owner's children, but younger guests are welcome to play, too! Our son loved throwing pebbles into the creek and exploring the plants, and was acquainted with the friendly cats. We stayed in the Creekside cottage, which was convenient because there is a small family room with a twin trundle bed. We set up that space with our son's travel crib, which gave us privacy in the bedroom. We also brought our own baby tub (folding Stokke) and bathed our kiddo outside on the porch since the bathroom only has a shower.
Yes, you do have to pack in your own food, but there is a small fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and electric kettle in the room so you can definitely make do. If you need to do anything more elaborate, Mark can let you use the commercial kitchen (provided that there isn't anyone else working). It felt very relaxing to have the run of the place, there aren't many locked doors! Breakfast was great-- Pat makes simple pastries that aren't too sweet, hardboiled eggs, coffee, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, etc.
We liked being a ways out from Guerneville-- Cazadero is much smaller and quieter, and only twenty minutes away from Guerneville. It's also only 20-30 minutes from Jenner and Bodega Bay, which is such a pretty drive. It was an ideal trip for our family. Thank you so much, Mark!
Lovely place for a short stay. Mark and staff is very accommodating and super friendly. Great hikes and winetastings nearby. The only problem was the trundle bed, the mattress was uncomfortable and one adult daughter ended up on the floor and the other in my comfy bed.
We loved staying here! The cottage was small but comfortable with a great gas fire to keep us warm on the chilly evening. The best part was enjoying the fire pit and fabulous pizza made by Mike, the owner, who was so incredibly generous and treated us like old friends. We look forward to returning!
This was so much more than a cottage in the woods! Mark and his staff are spectacular and opened up their bakery (with delicious pizzas and pastries) to us. The location is surrounded by ancient redwoods and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
Mark and his staff were so hospitable and really made us feel welcome. We got so much more than we bargained for - in the best possible way!
Took a weekend trip up to Raymond's Bakery, and am very happy to have stayed here. The property is great - nestled next to a redwood grove and creeks. What really made the trip amazing was the staff - Mark (owner) was an incredible host. He made us feel comfortable immediately, invited us to join him for dinner, and proceeded to cook up a feast for all the guests at the BnB. John, one of the bakery staff, was incredibly helpful and courteous and helped us plan daytime bike rides and hikes. I highly recommend staying here. I honestly have not seen hospitality like this in a long time - Incredible and genuine people.
