Thanks Tim! I am sorry about the lighting. I will check to see if the light by the sink was out. I also failed to give good instructions on the ceiling light. It has the option of being flipped 3 times to change the brightness. I did not think of including those instructions but I will fix it! Thank you for making me aware!
Beds are funny things. So many preferences. I always thought it was a little hard!
We would love to have you back!

This beautiful home has an amazing view from all rooms and an easy drive up a paved road. Enchanting is a good description. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed. birthday weekend making great memories. Hope to come back again
The home was absolute perfection for our trip. The views, the kitchen, the living room all of it. The grounds were super cool as well, little pieces of whimsy everywhere you walked. Highly reccomend this property.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Hot tub advertised was polluted with yellow sudsy water which when communicated with owner sent someone out the next morning, but finally had to get experts in to chemical dumped in.No one felt comfortable getting in after a dump of chemicals.

HI Larry, I am sorry that you felt uncomfortable about the hot tub. Your first concern expressed about the hot tub was on the 7th day of your visit. Hot tubs often need additional chemicals added after 7 Days. I sent someone the next morning to balance the chemicals. That did not immediately take care of the issue so I had a professional come out to empty and refill the hot tub. He also balanced the chemicals. No one indiscriminately dumped chemicals in the hot tub. Hot tubs do require a balance of chemicals to keep them clean and sparkling as the hot tub was after treatment. Had we known how many guest you had, instead of the 2 listed on your reservation, we would have had come out sooner, since heavy use by many people require additional treatments.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain retreat. The home was exceptionally clean, well equipped, and thoughtfully cared for, which immediately made us feel comfortable. The outdoor space truly felt like an enchanted oasis, surrounded by lush vegetation, flowers, and peaceful scenery. My husband, who is an avid gardener with extensive flower and vegetable gardens at home, genuinely appreciated the incredible amount of thought and work that has gone into the landscaping. We could tell it was a true labor of love. The property was also very motorcycle-friendly and easy to access, and the carport was especially handy during our stay. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing on the chilly mountain evenings. The covered porch was truly an experience in itself — you could see, hear, smell, and feel nature all around you while taking in the incredible mountain setting. The privacy, serenity, and views made this a truly special getaway. Thank you so much for hosting our group!

Thank you so much for you kind comments! It is our true hope that people come who love this home as much as we do! Yes, we love the garden and birds and serenity and we are so glad you enjoyed it to!
This was an awesome place to stay with our multi-generational family. It had everything we asked for: a beautiful view, perfect privacy with peace and quiet, the sounds of a rushing stream nearby and room to spread out so we all had our ‘space’.The out door living areas are fantastic. The hot tub has a long distance mountain view that looks down into the valley and is super private on the lower deck. The upper porch has a huge amount of comfy seating and a large table and chairs. The view from here is great and we took our family photo on this porch. It was cool enough for a fire in the fireplace. We appreciated all the sleeping areas where we could spread out and there were comfortable beds for everyone in the family. We used the two living room and den areas so that we never felt like we were on top of each other. We liked the open great room concept when we were cooking. It was a great place to ‘gather’ with recliners and comfortable chairs and big dining table. The kitchen was very well supplied with utensils etc. We enjoyed the house as much as visiting all the nearby attractions. Theres’s plenty to do for all the generations. I was surprised we all enjoyed Wheels Thru Time… and there are great dining options in Maggie Valley and in Waynesville. We ventured out to Asheville and it was not a long drive at all.Check-in was super easy and this is a great host.We will be back!
