About the property

4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 8-10

Wonderful historic home in West Harwich just 0.4 miles to Earle Rd. Beach, load up the wagon with beach toys and chairs and walk two short blocks to this sandy beach with its beautiful grass covered dunes. This house has a great layout for two families or one large extended family with the flexibility of a first floor master and a queen bedroom upstairs for parents and grandparents with two additional rooms including a room with double bunkbeds and a room with double twin beds for children and other guests. It has a screened in porch with a bar and an enclosed back yard for privacy and safety with a private outdoor shower.

Convenient to everything including: the Cape Cod bike trail, Herring River and Conservation area for fishing, kayaking and bird watching, pause and listen to the church bells ringing out from nearby Holy Trinity Church or spend a moment in quiet reflection within the beautiful chapel located behind it, 0.5 miles to Star/Shaw's grocery store, enjoy fresh caught seafood or a steamed lobster from George's fish market, or dine out at one of Harwich's many family friendly restaurants. Catch a preview of tomorrow's major leaguers in a Cape Cod baseball game featuring the Harwich Mariners at Whitehouse Field. Hop a ferry to Nantucket for the day from Saquatucket Harbor in picturesque downtown Harwich Port. Take the kids to the town park to shoot hoops, play tennis or monkey around on the playground, and of course enjoy one of Harwich's many lovely saltwater or freshwater beaches.

Just more than we expected...

  • 5 of 5

It was the first time that we have ever rented a house and it was the best experience one could make for the first time. Barbara was very helpful in the beginning answering all questions immediately. When we arrived, we found everything we could think of. The kitchen is even better equipped then my own...

When it was raining, Barbara got in contact with us to tell us what we could do. We also found a lot of information of the Cape: maps, guides, etc. - so helpful.

The location is also ideal for a stay on the Cape! We will definitely stay again at that house if we visit the Cape again. Thanks a lot for that very pleasant experience.

Fantastic stay yet again - perfect location and FABULOUS owner - Barbara is great really cares about her renters, it shows not only in the booking process but in the amenities of the home. If you are looking for a family beach vacation, walk to the beach, ideal location that you can get to all the Cape has to offer, great restaurants, shopping etc. then stop surfing the net and book this house you will not be disappointed.

Cute Cape house in excellent location - close to beach & town

  • 5 of 5

Quiet, clean house with large rooms. Great screened in patio & fenced in back yard & many toys for kids. Stocked with amenities and condiments. 2 blocks to beach. Short walk or drive to restaurants and bars. Dragonfly spa is closeby & Patty gives a great massage. Rooney's is a nice family restaurant nearby. Cranberry bog tour was awesome and also closeby. Comfortably fit my husband, 2 kids, and parents for the week - my brother & his wife & their baby joined us at the end & did not feel crowded. Great place - highly recommend!

Perfect Family Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful place to stay for our Cape Cod vacation. The house is centrally located which makes traveling around the Cape very easy. The house comfortably fit our family and my parents. The backyard is fenced which was great for letting the kids run around and we loved the outdoor shower! Another lovely feature was the screened in sunroom. We ate breakfast every morning out there and enjoyed a glass of wine at dusk without mosquitos! The beach is a quick 2 block drive and the house supplied beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. This was our first time to the Cape and the owners where super responsive and provided us with suggested places to eat and things to do; which made this vacation even more special. Would definitely stay here again!
