2BR 2BA +Loft, Great Mountain Views, Perfect Spot for CB Summer Vacation
Everything you could want in a Crested Butte vacation home. Located in downtown Crested Butte only two houses from the park, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits and softball field . It's a pleasant 5 minute walk to the heart of historic downtown Crested Butte with shops, galleries and restaurants and just two blocks away is the town shuttle pick-up Be sure to check out the Center for the Arts’ Alpenglow, a free outdoor concert series on Monday evenings during the summer, located only one block from the house.
The house has two bedrooms and one full bathroom located on the first level. Both bedrooms have queen beds.
The second floor has an open plan with the kitchen, dining, and living area where you can relax and enjoy the views of Crested Butte in all its splendor. Bamboo flooring in the living area, bedrooms and kitchen, tiled bathrooms and a unique blue stone entryway. Plus, in-floor radiant heat throughout.
The second full bathroom and washer/dryer are also located on the second level. There is a loft with a queen bed, located above the kitchen with pull down ladder access (best used for kids as the space is small). There is a queen sized sofa bed in the living room.
The kitchen being located on the second floor allows the cook to still be part of all the fun while enjoying the scenery. Kitchen equipped with 2 under counter fridges, 1 freezer for optimum counter space, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, garbage disposal and all cookware & dinnerware.
Windows surround the upstairs living/dinning area and kitchen keeping it bright and sunny. Insulated shades throughout the house for privacy and energy efficiency. Wood burning stove is located in the living area, which has cable tv, dvd player, board games and wi-fi.
Both bathrooms are tiled with in-floor heat, plush bath towels, hair dryer and extra toiletries available.
Relax on the porch with a beverage or prepare dinner on the gas grill while enjoying views of Paradise Divide, Mt. Crested Butte and Town Park. Humming birds often visit the house for a sip from the feeder just outside the window or from the beautiful hanging plant on the porch.
The duplex's shared backyard is fenced and nicely landscaped with flowers and mature aspen trees, as well as a flagstone walkway & patio seating area. The large grassy area is perfect for our four-legged visitors.
There is a gravel driveway as well as parking in front of the house, although a vehicle is unnecessary since everything in town is within walking distance and the shuttle (two blocks from house) will take you up to the Mt. Crested Butte base area.

About Erin Cerise
Welcome to Rather-Be Bungalow here in Crested Butte….a bit of paradise! After living in & loving Crested Butte for 8 years, my work required a move to Denver. Fortunately, we still make it back to the mountains as much as possible. I grew up in New Orleans but am happy to now call Colorado home. Since moving here I have realized my love for skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking and camping, so living in Crested Butte was perfect for me! Now I have introduced my husband, Kyle, to the area and he has fallen in love with it too! We're certain you'll enjoy your 'home' time spent at Rather-Be Bungalow, as well as getting out to enjoy all the beauty and fun times Crested Butte has to offer. ~Erin

Why Erin Cerise chose Crested Butte
Many Crested Butte locals have a story similar to mine, I moved there for a 6 month getaway and stayed for 8 years. We now visit as often as possible and the town and people still hold a special place in my heart. We have yet to find another town where the locals welcome you as family and the scenery make you appreciate each and every day. We hope that your Crested Butte experience is as special as ours continues to be.
What makes this Townhome unique
Rather-Be is perfectly located next to the park as well as being close to the shuttle and downtown shops & restaurants. My last summer there I took on the project of the fence, yard and patio, which is now a great space for enjoying a sunny Crested Butte day. The open concept of the house lends itself to gatherings with friends and family. Not to mention the spectacular views from every angle of the upstairs living area...one of the main things I miss about living there. We hope you get the chance to enjoy them.

Great stay in Crested Butte
This townhome was perfect for our group of 3 and a dog. We really liked the second level kitchen with an open concept to the living room and high ceiling. The location is great on the quieter side of town with an easy easy 5 minute walk to everything town has to offer. We frequently visit Crested Butte and we'd rank this stay towards the top! Erin is on top of all the communication and details.
A perfect place in a perfect town.
Near restaurants and the main part of town, but far enough away to be quiet. Very well kept, cozy, comfortable, and just the right size. Love this place.
Very nice stay in spotlessly clean condo
Great location, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, quiet neighborhood, extremely clean condo. Very well equipped with everything you need. Pictures accurately show the space. Upgraded kitchen and baths. Nice, big yard for the dogs. Comfortable, but a little small, in both bedrooms and downstairs bathroom. Comfortable seating, good tv. Very small cafe style dining table. Could work for four, but worked well for two of us and a couple of small dogs. Owner is pleasant and responsive to deal with. We enjoyed our stay here!
Cute house, walkable location
This place was adorable and it was a pleasure to stay there. Erin was responsive and easy to work with, the house was clean and cute as pie (the mosaic tiled stairs were my favorite). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we need. It is "cozy," which is to say that if the hide-a-bed is pulled out, there isn't any common space, and if the ladder is down from the loft, it takes up a chunk of the kitchen, but it definitely met our needs. There is a nice back yard with a fireplace, and of course, all of Crested Butte within walking distance. We had a great weekend, many thanks for having us!
The house was beautiful and comfortable! Very close to downtown and a great yard for the dog! We had a blast!
Loved this cozy home!
Wonderful property within walking distance of downtown Crested Butte! Beautiful zen decor throughout this home. The beds were comfortable, and I loved the cozy upstairs kitchen/den/outdoor balcony overlooking the mountains. There were three of us and we bought our two dogs. Spent a lot of time enjoying the pretty fenced in yard with our pets. at the time we were there, the light going up the stairs was out which made it a little difficult to see the stairs. I'm sure this is corrected by now. If you have an elderly person with you, they probably will have issues with the stairs. I highly recommend this property.
