About the owner: Uwe & Nancy have lived in Three Rivers for 40 years. Uwe is originally from Germany & Nancy is a native Californian. Uwe was trained as a chef in Germany & Nancy is an RN...but they worked together for almost 30 years in the candy & ice cream business. They love to travel and have been to many places in the world, enjoying much of it on board of container ships. Since retiring & selling their business in 2005, they have not only more time to travel, but also to pursue other interests. Uwe loves his home orchard & little tractor. As a 'gentleman farmer' he converts many of his crops to jars of jams, toppings, yeasts cakes & chutneys. Nancy has turned to the fiber arts; she weaves, hand spins & dyes yarns & fibers. Both enjoy music & have an extensive collection of performances in classical, jazz, and other types of music. Meeting new people who also enjoy travelling is one of the motivations to have a vacation rental. This is a new listing as of December, 2014
