Other Things to Note:
The high desert climate is distinctly cooler than in the lower desert region of Palm Springs and its neighboring desert cities. Nights are pleasant even in midsummer, desert breezes blow year-round and we even get snow from time to time in the winter. It's always a good night to enjoy a fire in our traditional stucco fireplace.

A True Paradise
We absolutely loved our time spent here! It's on a hill and has the most gorgeous views from every window! Also the sand to snow trail is a short walk down the street. My husband thanked me over & over again for booking this place. We are definitely returning.
Los Vientos was all that we imagined it would be, beautiful and peaceful place.
The views were breathtaking!!! Beautiful property, we loved the decor. Only little thing we did notice was dust inside the property. Yet we know it's very windy up there in the canyon so figured that's the reason why. But we didn't let that get in the way. We would definitely go back, this time with our 2 kids. Thank you so much!!

Beautiful location. Relaxing and peaceful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was very well equipped and comfortable. Loved our hike right from the house.
Amazing cabin and amazing location
The cabin was beautifully and efficiently appointed. Hikes just across the street near Black Lava Butte were stunning. I almost missed my flight because I didn’t want to leave.
View didn’t make up for the poor management!
We arrived to discover the house hadn’t been cleaned after the last renters. The sheets and towels hadn’t been changed, overflowing garbage, filthy floor and used bathroom. We drove 10 miles down the road to get cell service and left a message for the manager Brad, he did soon text us an apology and gave us the code to the linen closet so we could change the sheets! He asked if we wanted someone to come out the next day and offered to return our cleaning fee. We said yes thank you. No one showed up the next day. We emailed to let him know that if he had hired someone they didn’t show up. No response from Brad. We texted him a day later to let him know there was broken glassware left in a cupboard. No response from Brad. On the last day my husband left Brad a message to please call us as there was a problem with the laundry cupboard door. No response from Brad!
I had questioned the owner about the road before we rented and was told it was no problem if you went slow. We ended up renting an SUV and had no problem. But my husband, who is a drive anywhere kind of guy, did say there was no way he would have driven our personal car up there.
So although we did love the house and we did have our cleaning fee and the previous renters fee returned to us it didn’t make up for the having to clean up after someone else and the total lack of follow up from the manager with a proper apology. An “oh sorry” text doesn’t cut it with this big of a screw up.
Stunning location and tastefully appointed
This is by far one of my favorite places that I've ever stayed. There are vista views in every window and as the sun moves through the sky the landscape changes with the light. The hike from the cabin is secluded and beautiful. It is so quiet there until the wind picks up and whistles around the house at night. The inside was comfortable and nicely furnished. The internet worked great and we never missed having a TV at all. This is the perfect place to experience desert life.
