About Tony and Birgit DiBartolo
Our family moved to Asheville a year ago full time when Tony retired from the restaurant business. Four years ago, we purchased a cabin in NE Asheville so that we could have a place to visit and bring our dogs. We knew that we would have to rent it as a short term rental to be able to afford to have it. It's has been so successful that since then, we have purchased 4 more vacation rental properties and now devote our time to renting and maintaining those properties. We enjoy the communication with travelers and being able to provide a great place to stay in Asheville that's pet friendly, convenient and reasonably priced. It's important to us that our guests know that we do everything we can to make their vacation memorable. After all, we want you to keep coming back!

Why Tony and Birgit DiBartolo chose Leicester
We fell in love with the property before we even entered the house. We think the grounds are amazing and peaceful. That the house was so rustic and charming was a bonus.
What makes this Cabin unique
The previous owner recognized the uniqueness of the property and went to lengths to maximize the appeal of the grounds with a waterwheel and small waterfall. We built a firepit/gathering area near the water features and have created an outdoor space that is beautiful and peaceful. The custom built log cabin (built in the 70's) feels like it was built in the early 1900's and has so much rustic charm.

Rustic with some modern updates, Comfy beds, fun game room, and nice yard.
Overall, had a nice family vacation. Weather was nice. Short drive to Asheville. Loved the game room. Great having a fenced in area for the fur babies. Kitchen well equipped. Spacious. Would definitely go back.
Great for families, close to Asheville
Our family with small children, a dog and grandparent had a wonderful time in this cabin. It was very convenient to restaurants in Asheville and hiking trails and small towns nearby. We especially loved the basement game room with ping pong, billiards, comfy sofas and smart TV - it gave us a great place for young kids and grandpa to make wonderful memories together. The cabin was very clean and comfortable - many books to read, a checkers table, loads of board games, well-equipped kitchen, like-new washer and dryer. Birgit, the owner, was very accessible and great to work with.
We so enjoyed our 3 days at the cabin! Perfectly located to be quiet and relaxing but within an easy distance of everything you would want to do. Our only regret is that we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space more...we will obviously need to return when the weather is warmer!
A little piece of heaven!
What an exceptional experience! The property is beautiful, private and immaculately maintained. Birgit touched base early in our trip to make herself available for any questions or concerns, but not a single one arose during our stay. The cabin was well equipped, pristine and spacious. The fire pit area and yard were just lovely, and there were instructions for the outdoor lights, water wheel, etc. Our pups and toddler were absolutely enamored with it all and heartbroken to leave (as were my husband and I). We will most certainly be back!! Thank you so much for the wonderful escape from reality!!!
Wonderful house. As advertised. Perfect for family of 4 (2 teens). So many extras -- best of all the welcoming bottle of wine! Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the Spring/Summer when it's not so cold!
Wonderful Cabin Outside of Asheville
Our family had a great stay at this charming cabin! It had all of the amenities to make us feel at home and was very clean and well-maintained. We really enjoyed the close proximity to the great restaurants in Asheville and local attractions. We will definitely visit again.
The cabin is less than 10 minutes from the intersection of New Leicester Highway and Patton Avenue which is a major thoroughfare in Asheville. The cabin is also 10 minutes from trendy, funky West Asheville and it's popular restaurants and shops. The corner of NLH and Patton Avenue is a busy intersection with a number of stores, grocery, restaurants, etc. A large grocery store is 2 miles away from the cabin on NLH. Downtown Asheville is less than 15 minutes away, a straight shot down Patton Avenue.
