THE UNIT YOU SEE IS THE UNIT YOU RENT #202!! Located at the Maui Kai Resort. Being a studio this Condo is perfect for TWO people. Unit #202 is on the second floor. This is a Deluxe MODERN & completely REMODELLED Oceanfront Studio unit. You have a Lanai out side to enjoy the ocean beezes!! PRIVATELY RENTED ONLY thru this site. Can't beat the location, it is real oceanfront, located in West Maui on North Ka’anapali Beach just a few foot steps away from the ocean. This unit is also located next door to our great Large 1 bedroom corner unit, with the private roof top deck, so if you need extra room and privacy, you could rent them together for a larger group of friends or family.

This unit is located on the second floor with approximately 500 square feet of living space. The lanai is open not glassed in.. And yes, there is air-conditioning if needed, it is central thru the complete building, controlled at each unit. The Condo has incredible views of the ocean as well as the other islands, and not to mention the famous Maui Sunsets!

The Condo is decorated with a modern contemporary design, allowing you to feel relaxed and yet chic at the same time. New additions are the king-size bed with all of the other new furnishings to give the feel of a home away from home. The kitchen has new Stainless Steel appliances, included a counter top ceramic stove, dishwasher, full size microwave, and fridge with ice-maker. WE HAVE ADDED A CONVECTION TOASTER OVEN TOO!! Granite tops, and new cabinets that are fully stocked for your gourmet cooking or if you choose, use of the gas BBQ's at the pool side. And not to forget the bathroom with all new tile walls and flooring in the glass enclosed Shower, and a new granite top vanity; very bright and clean. We supply a hairdryer and also a Room Safe for all your valuables! And also iron and counter top iron board. Laundry rooms on each floor of the building.

Washer & Dryers are coin operated. We supply your laundry soap!

There is also a sitting area for relaxing and watching TV or DVD or your own music thru I-Pod Dock ,or the waves right outside the lanai doors. We have secure WIFI set up in our condo for our guests use. Your oceanfront lanai seating includes a patio table to watch for whales, dolphins or even the turtles. Or for breakfast, lunch, dinner or coffee... morning, noon or sunset time. Also there is a lounging seat for laying back and napping to the sound of the waves...

Shops, grocery stores, restaurants, Outdoor Farmer's Market, and cafes are only a few blocks way. You can walk on the new beach walk, or drive. And if you like to golf, you are only a short driving distance from 3 world class golf courses. Lahaina town is a quick 8 - 10 minute drive south from the condo. Maui Also has the Maui Bus now... you can check out the website for the maui bus for more information.

Air-conditioned, free parking, this is a real oceanfront treasure! We stock some beach gear for you,( no snorkels- you can rent equipment across the street) so just bring a good book, and your self, this is your paradise!!!

Wow - we had an amazing week. We are on our honeymoom and the views are magnificent. The rainbow every morning over the water was amazing. Some of the best snorkeling is hight here on this beach. we saw an octopuss, eels, tons of fish and even saw a monk seal! oh and we snokeled with the turtles too.

We had an amazing time, we will defintley be back It rained a little,still able to do tons. Go to "Soup Nuts" great for good and people. The Trilogy is the best, skip the sub, you see soooo much more right here in the water on the beach out front.

We will be back. . . and don't forget too look out the window for the rainbows at approx 8 am.... Amazing!!

Loved this condo!

It was in the perfect location and right on the water. The view was superb!! The condo was super clean and well maintain. Nice grounds with a small gated pool. Lots of extras available for guests to use; boogie boards, beach towels, q-tips, sewing kit, plenty of dishes and all types of kitchen staples. The management company was awesome and very helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs and make sure that everything was to our liking. Highly recommend booking with them!!

Great view

The unit was perfect for a couple. Kitchen good for making light meals. Awesome view but the waves are really loud! Great location.

View is amazing

If you got any closer to the ocean the condos would be floating. It was great to watch the whales and have dinner on the lanai or coffee in the morning. Kitchen equipped enough for what we needed. My only complaint was the bed, it’s like a big spongie marshmallow. No support. Terrible.

Owner's Response: aloha And thank you for your review of my condo unit #202. my last guests said the bed was too hard, and we purchased a gel/support topper for it last month. the guests loved it... you are now saying it was to spongie... wish you would have contacted me like my instructions at the condo ask you to do. We could have removed the mattress topper for you and the matteress would have been firm, as that is what it is. Best to follow instructions and call owners or managers to help you out. I am sorry that it was not to your liking. Thank you for pointing this out. Such a easy fix. Mahalo Bonnie Chadwick

The studio is just perfect for two and the views are fabulous

We had an incredible two weeks at this unit. Great amenities and easy access to a variety of things to do. You can take great walks anytime of day and find something new. We especially enjoyed coffee in the a.m. on the lani and drinks in the evening watching the sunset. Definitely would go back. Thankyou you Bonnie for making our 40th wedding anniversary so memorable!! Dave and Kathy

Amazing ocean view - WHALE WATCHING GALORE

This was our first time staying at Maui Kai. We would stay here again which is largely due to the ocean view and ability to whale watch, admire sunrise and sunset on the ocean etc. We also appreciated the quiet nature of the building and the older demographic.

Our only mention for future prospective tenants would be the following : For the light sleepers out there, sleeping in the room could be a challenge without earplugs due to the sound of the wind/waves at times during the night. There is also a light outside the front door which pours through the window on the door which has no blinds.

Overall, loved the ocean front lanai and would stay again in the future! The booking process was simple and professional. The room was exactly what we expected.

Owner's Response: Aloha, Thank you for review on my condo at Maui Kai. We do appreciate your feedback. The condo is located right on the beach, as noted on the site, and yes the ocean can get extra loud if there is high surf or a storm front. I have replaced our Lanai doors with new double pain glass in 2009 and find that 95% of the time if the doors are shut the ocean sound is very minimal. The condo front door has 3 defused glass louvers on the top for ventilation instead of a/c. We have installed 3 sets of blinds on the top of the 94" door and find the guests take them down or they get dislodged. So I do understand, if you are light sensitive, it can both some. I do leave my contact information on the counter, and could have come over with a temporary blind or black out curtain for you. I do hope you come back and visit us again. We try hard to keep our guests happy, as we enjoy all of our returning guests like family members. Mahalo!

Truly paradise!

By far the best view in Maui from you the lanai. Very attentive owner. Comfortable bed! Conveniently located next to dining, sandy beaches and shopping. From day one this place makes you fall into relax mode.

I am glad it is noticed in our guests reviews. We also added the desk and extra plugs for guests I pads, laptops, and I phone charging.
