This beautiful condominium complex is centrally located, only a 10 minute drive from the Lihue airport and walking distance to restaurants, shopping, beaches, and various activities such hiking, kayaking, bicycling, swimming, and sunbathing and even a highly rated Luau. The location is conducive to sightseeing actives on the north and south sides of the island. Drive north towards Princeville and Hanalei to experience the lush back country of Kauai and the Napali Coast or head south towards Poipu and experience the amazing Waimea Canyon, the 'Grand Canyon of the Pacific'.
This 740 square foot fully equipped second-floor condo features a spacious one bedroom and one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue area, a comfortable living area, and on the top of the list, a lanai that affords you with a million dollar view. This smoke free, air conditioned (in bedroom) condo accommodates four people with a king size bed that sleeps two, as well as a sofa sleep that sleeps two .

Excellent Place to RELAX !!!!
Centrally located in Kapaa, you're under an hour from any destination on the island!!! Very well maintained grounds and pool area, and the view is exactly like the picture. And it's across the street from the Coco Palms hotel where Elvis was in "Blue Hawaii." A lot of yummy restaurants nearby. ALOHA !!!!!
Superb view, excellent value
We stayed Feb 27 - March 7, 2017. Nice unit. Could use some updates. Our friends stayed in a newer, updated unit in the building with wood floors and newer kitchen and bath. Their unit was very nice looking. However we DID have a MUCH BETTER VIEW then our friends and that more than made up for any needed updates.
The kitchen is well stocked (not having to do dishes after every meal). Had a dishwasher, microwave, electric stove and refrigerator. Plenty of space for any groceries you'd bring in.
The bathroom was a great size and had a blown dryer and curling iron available. Toilet paper, Kleenex and hand soap was provided.
The bedroom was spacious. It had a large closet (with tons of hangers) and a 6 drawer dresser available for unpacking.
The small stackable washer and dryer were nice to have in the unit. It made keeping up with towels easy.
The pool is a good size with BBQ's available and plenty of seating around the pool. Down side for us was that the pool had to be drained and fixed / have maintenance done for 3 days. Upside, it was pretty wet out and we did other adventures to occupy our time. They were also doing maintenance on the parking lot while we were there as well. So thing should be in great shape by now. We really took advantage of all the sites the island offers and did not let the maintenance / upkeep items bother us.
If looking for adventures on the island, most of the sites are not that far away from the unit, it's location was great.
FYI, Kauai is known for its chickens. There were many chickens everywhere, including this units property, so note that the roosters rise early. ;-)
When we arrived at the unit, check in was easy. In the unit itself, they had the windows open, the ceiling fans were on and we could enjoy the amazing view and ocean waves as we walked in. Despite all of the rain storms we had, this view more than made up for missing out on the sun.
Overall, the unit was VERY clean and we didn't have any issues during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing View of Wailua Bay
We had a very good stay in unit 207 of the Wailua Bay View condos. The views are simply amazing and the sound of the surf was wonderful to relax and fall asleep to. The location is very good in terms of easy access to all other parts of the island and there are some terrific little local restaurants within walking distance (try Passion Bakery for their mac nut sticky bun and the enchiladas at Monico's Mexican restaurant!). The slight downside is the pool area is on the side of the building which is right next to the highway so it's not super peaceful. The bedroom in the condo is also on the highway side of the condo so if you are a light sleeper the traffic noise may be of issue but it didn't bother us as we could still hear the surf from the bedroom and that put us right to sleep.
The condo itself is pretty dated but it was spotlessly clean with one exception...the carpet. The carpet is a pale (and ugly) green that looks like underlay, not carpet. And it is filthy. I would say it desperately needs to be cleaned, but I will take it one step further and say it desperately needs to be replaced. Upon entering the condo for the first time, the first thing we both noticed was the dirty trail on the carpet that you could see from the front door leading down the hallway to the kitchen and the living room. Thank goodness we kept walking in and saw those views...the views are what made us sort of overlook the carpet and focus on the great lanai and views.
There is a/c in the bedroom only, but for the first time EVER on a tropical vacation we did not need to use it. The trade winds that blow through the condo when you have the lanai windows open and the bedroom/front door windows open darn near creates a wind tunnel that kept the condo comfortably cool. That was great.
All in all we would stay in this building again for sure, but we may try and find a different unit that has better/cleaner flooring.

Overall, was very clean and had all the amenities. Great ocean view for sunrises and to watch surfers. The biggest downfall was the traffic noise.

Great location, comfortable, great views
Overall a good place to stay.
Clean, Nice pool, great ocean view. Had air cond in bedroom thank God. Grounds of condo nice. A few places to eat within walking, but a rental car was nice to have. In Kapaa a must eat was Pono Market. Fresh great Hawaiian food. Get there before noon. Keke beach is a must we spent to full days there. This is not the Marriott but we enjoyed our stay for the price.
